Then she has the advantage of incumbency and the party avoids a messy battle. I think if Kamala is going to be the nominee this is how they should go about it. Doing so would also shatter the glass ceiling and make it easier for other women in the future (assuming there is a future )
Lil Mxnster Posted July 4 Posted July 4 I agree that Biden's legacy could be tarnished if he continues and loses. His greatest (and most honorable) achievement lies in having defeated that fascist clown but if Trump returns after four years, it would be a stain on Biden's political career

thesegayz Posted July 4 Posted July 4 Through one of my WH sources, I heard that those closest to Joe Biden are not advising him to drop out because they'd have zero job prospects after he's out of politics. His yes people are vehemently disliked. Joe may have had the grace to drop, but again, his administration is propping him up to save their own asses. Now Kamala is our only hope? a nightmare timeline

Biden will never be able to do that. So long as Biden is in the race, this election will be about whether or not Biden is fit for the presidency. Democrats need to change the narrative. Democrats need to dumb Biden.

But he said plan B would be for Biden to resign and for president Harris to be the nominee. Personally, I think his system, 13 keys to the White House, is out of date. It's a good way to think about elections, but the political landscape has changed too much for it to be accurate. The keys rely on history and this is an unprecedented election

It is what it is and trashing the (current) democratic nominee is doing any of us any favors. Welcome to reality. 1

Some of you need to put the poppers down and remember 4 years ago trashing Kamala when she was picked to be VP and labeled her a war-criminal amongst other derogatory names. Now she's our savior?! I want all the things you want, but I, apparently, matured enough to see things for how they are and understand how the game is played. Some of you are still stuck in your Bernie-Bro brainfried mindsets to put it politely. Giving me vibes of the free Palestine protests that recently happened where they occupied and destroyed a library for low-income university students. ******* embarrassing. 2 3
