Sorry we don't need a coronation. Let's see Manchin, Harris and Williamson make their best case and let the delegates decide the nominee.

It's really a toss up between Shapiro and Beshear

Although Pennsylvania is extremely important; I feel like Beshear's pull in the red south is also to consider, his southern accent could be relatable to some voters ... grasping at straws here, know nothing about these guys. That's the thing with new names thrown at us that are LOCAL ...

For the people who heard these two speak on different occasions or who are familiar with those candidates, who is the better speaker?

We need a fighter.

The great thing about the GOP melting down and pushing the "this is a coup" narrative is that it's only going to appeal to their base. Nobody outside the base is going to think it's a bad thing that Biden has been replaced since the GOP convinced them he should be replaced.

They really shot themselves in the foot.

Yeah I really don't think they've fully considered the effects of pushing a message of "how DARE the Democrats get rid of Biden!" onto independents who overwhelmingly thought Biden was too old to run for re-election :dies:

Not @GhostBox already slamming laughinh

emojis re: the idea that Kamala should change policy on Palestine. Guy wants everyone united around a dem candidate. It happens. He immediately starts agitating common sense human decency, and will wonder why leftists will become de-motivated and separated from the Dem party. For once, stop being an *******.

For the last 3.5 weeks you cried here about everybody needing to get used to the fact Joe Biden wasn't dropping out. Dismissed that his debate performance would have any impact - then we see blue states turning red, denied Biden's mental ability, and deny any wrong doing in Palestine or that it in anyway impacted Biden despite it plummeting him to mid 30s approval ratings. Time to face facts that you have no political acumen. However you can learn from your past mistakes and not disenfranchise a voter wing that Dems NEED to win this November.

You may get a little Johnny rocket in your pants at the thought of brown children being burned alive in the hundreds every day - but can you please stop parading your sick mentally deranged "interests" in this thread. I'm sick of seeing laughing emojis on posts that are desperate pleas to stop killing children in Palestine.

Andy is not a bombastic fighter like we need. Shapiro's recent statement shows he's ready and willing to fight so we need him.

Like... they spent four years convincing America Biden was senile and they expect people to be mad he's been replaced with someone who isn't senile? They never think these things through.

You guys helped push out the guy who was actually close to brokering a ceasefire deal so good job.

He really wasn't. Netanyahu undermined him and humiliated him every time he claimed a deal was close :ahh:

Imagine claiming this when the Knesset just recently passed a resolution denouncing the two state solution nearly unanimously :ahh:

Wow, I'm glad you find the idea of a ceasefire :ahh: worthy. Kind of gross...

I wouldn't mind a contested convention honestly. It's Manchin's duplicitous behind I'm so sick of seeing more of. I thought we'd rid ourselves of him and his BS.

One of the dumbest things Dems did during the early portion of the Biden presidency was task Kamala with being the figurehead for the Border Crisis knowing good and damn well they weren't gonna do anything to make meaningful progress there.

The GOP's gonna hammer her on the mess going on at the border, when we all know neither party's leadership actually wants to resolve the issue.

It's not a coronation. Harris name was on the primary ballot along with Biden. Knowing his age - they easily knew they could be voting Harris too.

Now - the legitimacy of that primary is another question. However, if Biden is a valid nominee after it - so is Kamala.

there it is, major potential candidate endorsing Kamala

I don't find the idea of a ceasefire laugh worthy. The idea that Biden was ever close to brokering one when he gave Israel all the bombs they asked for (except for ONE shipment) is however. Completely disconnected from reality. Which is typical of Biden stans to be fair.

Behind Biden this was probably the second most important endorsement of the day. Newsom's been the most obvious about wanting to seize the opportunity to be president next.

I wasn't aware you could announce a presidential run while still being the vice president
