Assange is wrongfully detained, but that does not justify the same happening to Evan Gershkovich. Gershkovich had nothing to do with Assange's detention and both of them should obviously be freed.

Separatist military Russian groups have taken over a few villages in Belgorod oblast (near the border with Ukraine) and continue fights. I hope this happens in other republics and autonomous regions of russian federation.

Seeing the footage and news of what happened in the dam and the consequences of it is absolutely horrifying. 

 

Civilians trying to save others from drowning yet getting gunned down, I don't know how those monsters can have the conscience to do that.

People can support Ukraine without exaggerated claims of the populations of western Europe being in favour. The support is paper thin. The ‘danger’ is in that in the countries that count, Germany, France and Italy, government support is fuelling far right sentiment. Nobody will state it because it’s taboo but many don’t like Slavs be they Russians, Ukrainians, etc.

Unless something changes, France will have a far right President next election. Germany not so but the government will be walking a thin line as Ukrainian refugees move from Poland to Germany which is the likely scenario if no end in sight.
