SNSD doesn't have the range

Big Bang is really respected in Korea until they got really spoiled by YG :biblio:

YG and his boys, so misogynistic. Meanwhile the girls in his company, the saving cows are treated like hostages.

So they don't know how to count, most when it's 3 out 7. :deadbanana4:

Just goes to what I've been saying all along -- Lightsum are like two girl groups forced to be one.  And now PROOF that one group doesn't even recognize the existence of the other group!  #KPOPFACT

Not the Big Bang vs SNSD on the last few pages :deadbanana4:

Literally the 2nd Gen version of BTS vs BP :giraffe:

We get it SNSD was bigger sales wise, but Big Bang was much bigger impact and legacy wise on modern KPop industry especially with GD open the door for idols to actively involve on songwriting and producing for their project

glad they remastered it but why did they have to add a facial filter :monkey: (notice one specific member not getting it used on them for most of their solo shots like the others the set up)

Ugh I miss the 2nd Gen era :weeps:

Big Bang also serve 1-2-3 punches excellence of Lies, Last Farewell, and Haru Haru back in mid-late 2000s

Anyways this was one of my favorite release of theirs

No, I probably just ignored you

the bringing up of criminal records, etc to try to win an argument when we're talking about sales is LAME

If anything I would argue BB were more GP chart successful but SNSD had more industry impact.

SNSD is mentioned by new GGs way more than BB is mentioned by new BGs, for example. Their impact is all over K-pop, especially in 3rd gen, while most new boygroups follow the BTS print, not the BB print :cm:

Big Bang peaked in 2015 (their 2007-2009 era is still the best though), after that their music went downhill. Without those scandals, they would still have hits then and there in Korea but they won't achieve what BTS has internationally. BB has BIG GP recognition but their core fandom is not as big as SNSD, let alone BTS. VIPs been saying if BB debuted in social media era they would be bigger than BTS but trust me, I was in Kcon 2014 in LA, and semi-nugu BTS had louder cheers than SNSD, GD and all other acts.

For those always wondering what GWSN is up to...

Apparently she's the first female lead.  Anyway, it's the classic story of a hitman who's living a normal life until someone close to him is kidnapped.  And yes, the movie is produced by GWSN's parent company.  Also a classic story.

The delusion in this post is too much for me.

Bigbang has released 5 songs total since 2015 and 4 have been smash hits. The 5th was a bside.

Bigbang charted in America before BTS. Bigbang sold out arenas in America before BTS. Bigbang never had a media push or a label in the US and is still one of the best selling kpop groups of all time in America.

Kcon is targeted at children and young teens so newer groups always get attention. BTS has had years of relevancy in markets Bigbang couldn't fully crack and is just barely catching up to their sales worldwide in the 2020s. They wont even top Bigbang's tour record gross until their next tour or until they add more shows to permission to dance. :deadbanana2:

G-Dragon is first and foremost the best songwriter and(arguably) producer working in kpop. On top of being a great rapper, decent by idol standards vocal/dancer, and a Rihanna size global fashion icon. BTS has none of that and never will. He could have debuted in any era of pop music and smashed because of his talent and taste. Some people were just born to be superstars. GD is undeniably one of those people.

All of this is without mentioning how BTS shamelessly copied GD and were a product of his influence for YEARS. Going as far as to falsely tagging videos of themselves as Bigbang on social media for exposure in the early days. GDs talent and image singlehandedly gave us BTS and 2NE1/Blackpink as copies. Not to mention he also invented the modern conventions for lightsticks, fandom names/engagement, solo projects alongside group activities, huge world tours outside of Asia, etc.:bunny:
