Psycho was up against Zico’s SOTY too. And Meteor was a huge smash..it literally only stopped charting late last year :rip: bigger than all the songs that blocked FMR.

Yeah Psycho was just massive. I was annoyed at their bad luck at the time, since it would have gotten a PAK had it not been blocked by those songs.

Psycho also survived the chart system change and was still slaying.

I think if you have GP support it's still not too hard to chart well.

The groups who are mostly fanbase driven do well in physicals but are now struggling more on the charts since the changes.

RV’s luck is just awful. Down to RR, RF, Bad Boy, Psycho and FMR. There’s just always a smash larger than life blocking them :rip:  & yeah idk why we used to think it was impossible to chart well or harder to do so when 24hr hits came around. It really just exposed what’s truly a hit even more so.

But yes FMR was a breath of fresh AIR in the very girl crush saturated market that Kpop is in rn. No wonder it smashed :gaycat2: but…imma need that velvet comeback though it’s almost been two years now come on.

I agree, they tried something unique and different (but still public friendly) and it paid off.

I'm sure they will have a Velvet comeback at some point, especially if they're doing a trilogy. FMR is Red & Velvet concept so I think, if they're doing a trilogy, we could get a Red summer song and a Velvet song towards the end of the year.

The official end of their cute era :clap3:

Its quite an infectious song tbh.

Heartshaker unnie being so high is so surprising. But I’m not mad since I love that song (even if it’s hated here). WIL being on the lower end is surprising since it’s one of their bigger hits WW.

As much as I love some of their "old" music, Im disgusted at how GP is paying "mature" TWICE dust bc ICSM, Cry for Me, Feel Special are some of the best kpop songs ever :psyduck:

Melon seems harder to chart on but also seems more stable in a way. Songs aren’t jumping up and down.

LOONA their More & More era

Jokes aside, this doesn't look like teasers for a noisy song so I'm kinda looking forward to their comeback.

The fan is a male though I think :skull: And not you indicating that Lee Know is gay when he is the most straight member of SKZ also :rip:

Cause this another hot female fan asked him to propose to her, and you can tell he entertained the idea, even though he just proposed with his snacks instead. You can tell with his eyes that he wanted to f*** her :skull:

Not you calling Lee Know sTrAiGhT when everyone on that group is giving extreme hunty vibes except Changbin. I dont know if its genetics or the make-up but all male kpop idols with the exception of a few come across as very feminine/twinkish

The photoshop in those Loona teasers look so off to me :rip: The saturation is so weird...

I agree. Stability is coming from including 24 hour data into the calculation.

Before, it was purely based on streams in the previous 1 hour, so songs jumped up and down.

Though the 24Hits system (which only used 24 hour data) was bad imo because the chart was too stable. Everything was slow to move/react and songs took a long time to rise. The system they have now is better since it's a combo of 1 hour and 24 hour data.

The grip they had in Korea in 2016-2018 :jonny:

I remember people in this thread started complaining about their "cute" concept in 2017 but honestly I think they waited the right amount of time to change their concept. Fancy started their switch and they solidified their more mature era with Feel Special :clap3:

This is so mean, some of kpops most beloved idols would be considered “ugly” by korean standards and yet they’re all still super successful: Gdragon, Jhope, Hyorin, Rosé, Hwasa, JooE etc.

Looks aren’t everything
