Anyway yeah I think a big reason why aespa has 50\50 male & female fans is due to their lore.

It's probably really appealing to gamers & the like. The whole concept of 4 girls in a futuristic world\metaverse with virtual counterparts (ae) having to defeat the final boss (tm) Black Mamba sounds exactly like the plot to some sort of video game  I know alot of aespa stans who are gamers as well and I don't think that's a coincidence. 

Plus the fact that they're all very attractive helps too. And last time I heard Winter especially was really popular among teenage male fans

The way SM goes so hard for her is so funny to me. This isn't the first time too, the way they managed to bury her connection with Burning Sun & her assault scandal? She doesn't even chart anywhere  I really wanna know what dirt she has on them cause...

Starship pulled the old tricks of conflicting Schedule. The same they did for Monsta X when they replaced SISTAR in a concert and we learned later that SISTAR was there doing nothing.
