Also why am I not surprised YG sold out the demos done by the YG trainees  they all definitely went to Chinese labels which is why we'll never hear any leaks, this was totally a one-off

After some thought I still consider Dreamcatcher to 3rd gen not even counting Minx. They’ve been around too long to be considered a 4th gen group; especially being on their 2nd album  

 

the hype for Baemon also feels nonexistent compared to an actual BP comeback. I’d be surprised if they still had 10 girls ready for whenever that happens, they’ve been on the back burner for 2-4 years at this point

Aespa will do decent in japan. IVE, Itzy and LSFM are bigger even NMIXX with a flop song are doing better also JPN releases tend to flop unless you’re Twice.

That's their fault for tying themselves to the sinking ship that is Avex.

And aespa is also signed to Avex, so I don't have much hope for them to succeed in Japan

Exactly. SNSD shined because EMI/Universal was handling their Japan projects and they did everything right, music wise and promotion.

SHINee is also signed to EMI in Japan and they seem to do well. 

 

Avex is simply terrible. RV's promotions are non-existent despite good touring and f(x)'s debut never even got off the ground. I don't have high hopes for how they will handle aespa.

and then they will wrap all of it and release 1st album around their 1st anniversary
