Yeseo, Leeseo, Eunchae and Jiwoo are barely one year older than Hyein. 
 

I wouldn’t count out Leeseo, after all among them she’s the only one who did go viral. 
 

And for Hyein, Despite what MJH thought and the push, the It girls of Newjennies are Haerin (China and SK), followed by Minji(SK) and Hanni (Intl). And imo it’s better that way. I’m glad that a child isn’t the most popular one. We will see when she get older if she can manage to be the most popular in NJ.

But anyways this is the perfect time for NMIXX to change their whole concept, since they just lost a member and their whole dynamic have already changed.

If they were to change it before let’s say before Jinni left, then it would’ve feel forced and that they gave in to the public’s backlash. But now is the perfect time without it feeling forced, since they are going into a new year with a new lineup.

This one year difference plays in Hyein’s favor, since she’s already debuted and she’s not lost between other members and she will only get better, more confident and skilled with time. 

 

I agree it’s good that Hyein is not in the main spotlight right now. But there’s just something about her that’s really captivating. Like, you may forget some idols are even in the group when they perform because they are somewhat just a background for the centers or more prominent members, but that won’t happen in NewJeans. They all have really good and strong presence and they shine on their own. I would argue they all have that something, similiar factor to BP. I’m glad Hybe is pushing them separately too, right from the start. They are building not only group’s brand but trying to push each girl to make them popular and wanted.
