That Sojang comment section is serving this thread  I know I've participated in dragging them a bit but not too much on Twice girlies. They've had amazing success, I think they've just been brought down by a string of very mid title tracks

Because it sounds like something those C-list GG would put out, there's also no well-thought concept and whatsoever. They should take some time to recharge (you can tell they're tired from those back to back releases) as they already earned the top position in KPOP but no jyPIG just really think it's necessary to gave them a basic Swedish disco demo and made them drag-able for everyone it's just so frustrating!

key performed gasoline at smtown. the song is so weak. the fact that kenzie and moonshine worked on it and that's the result.

I have to agree with Fancy, that's a great pop song. However I feel like TWICE never reached an outstanding quality level, Fancy is a great song, but when you have BP with Whistle, PWY, AIIYL or RV with Bad Boy, Psycho, and lesser groups like Gfriend had Rough, and Mamamoo with a string of strong pop songs like decalcomanie, Egotistic and You're The Best

 

Twice simply falls flat, Breakthrough was another great moment btw.

I’m sure the BP reception will be positive becuase western media appeases to Kpop fandoms and YouTube reactors. No offense to BTS but all their western pushed songs like DNA, Dynamite and Butter got overwhelming positive reactions even tho this are some of thier worst songs. So I have no worry about Pink Venom

TT is objectively high quality, Feel Special and Alcohol-Free (that entire EP actually) are up there as well

 

Especially if you're using AIIYL as an example

I fear for them if the next comeback has poor styling and $2 teasers again

Twice’s music hasn’t been bad but their title tracks have honestly just been forgettable. The melody, instrumental, production have all just been not exciting.
