Aespa case isn’t that bad. Itzy it’s even worse barely a year old already English album that no once cared when they could’ve been promoted In japan, Friday release, JYp sacrificed their Korean popularity it kinda worked even if their songs were getting mixed reactions. For some reasons they targeted Korea again, now they’re charting even like a nugu group internationally.  
 

when will companies understand that BP and BTS weren’t huge internationally in 3 months, it took time, they were already established in Korea and Asia while none of these groups are household names. 

Gaeul is gorgeous but people on the internet seems to root for the underdog just for the sake of it. Like how this thread is hyping up Onda to heaven when we all know she's a non-factor in EVERGLOW

Aespa is serving WG of 4th gen. Sort of the catalyst of the gen of girl groups but the desperation for Western success killed some hype in Korea and allowed other groups to pass them in relevance. I hope SM course corrects. 
 

They’ve done most nonsensical US YouTube interviews and crap than Korean promo which is absolutely absurd. 
 

Chaeryoung’s viral Korean interview was 10x more impactful for Itzy than all of aespa’s random English interviews that are getting like 300k views  

 

Kpop fans are fans of Kpop. Stick with the Korean promo and fans will tune in. And the fact that their least popular member with a scandal is also the only one who speaks English and yet they’re still going this direction

Aespa has one flopped/underperformed era. They are going to have Korea on choke hold again when they come with the Sexy concept and let Miss SingSing serves what she was born to up. I see a lot of sex appeal in Winter too, a lot more than Karina. Giselle is just Giselle; she’ll show up for work to translate some language!

I wont consider Girls era a "flop" era tbh it was just mismanaged because of how hard sm always pushes their artists in the west

 

Its fine lessons learned. Dont release another english song like LTS and never ship the girls again in the US in the middle of album release

Not the random Onda shade?  She's literally the best performer of the group and the most charming member. The way she always stomps with the minimal lines she gets and is still able to stand out, let's not

The way she served cvndt while dancing to "Sour Candy" as well, like everything about her is so camp
