I need a combination of aespa and IVE tbh.

 

I need interesting music that is more radio friendly than absurd + good adlibs and high notes as a climax but not ridiculous.

 

aespa is too experimental/out there sometimes. IVE is pretty generic so far.

aespa tries to fit too many high notes for no reason. IVE literally has none due to no outstanding vocalist.

 

STAYC has the most potential to give me what I want, but BEP keeps giving them lowkey tracks and its so irritating. Why can't he make anymore Cheer Up/LOA/Likey/Fancy anymore

Year end, aespa was the only artist consistently not getting any special dance breaks, back dancers, intricate stages, etc.

 

The fact that they couldn't even be bothered to have a live band or more "hype" versions of their songs for a huge festival like Coachella. Ugh.

 

SM really needs someone who cares about performances on their executive team because right now they just don't have it.

you put it into words but yeah, very rarely do they give their artists the tools to put on a PRODUCTION, at least for televised stuff

 

 

this was an exception tho, it would easily be my favorite of theirs ever had SM let them turn the mics on

Like, I kind of get the Coachella gatekeeping, It was a special, historic moment for Blackpink, in the context of a career where there aren't that many moments.

 

i still don't get how blinks responding to SM's lies and MYs shading BP for performing at a "side stage" all week means we're insecure, threatened and gate keeping  nobody gatekept anything when 2ne1 performed last week, their stans are dragging bp every day but even they didn't come up with that main stage nonsense

Are there any news/tea regarding SM's 4th gen BG? I think them and Baemon are the only ones left.

I need Lee Soo Man to give us a 4 max 5 members BG with noise free music, vocal talent & high quality visuals. Something like a SHINee/Red Velvet hybrid, and with all members adults.

The nshytizens meltdowns ALONE would be worth it

TO be fair, it didn't make sense to me either, but when I watched the one on coachella channel it really is overedited compared to the actual live.

 

Fancams show at the event they heard live vocals, but on the stream it sounded pre-recorded

There were male yg trainees at TREASURE's concert 

so it wouldn't surprise me if yg debuts another bg b4 5th gen

they still have the name MAGNUM trademarked for what was supposed to be one of TREASURE's units

 

also, IKON & WINNER contracts are up this year

so anything could happen

The crowd looked fine to me. How do you know it will be the same crowd reaction when their other chances could involve not being part of 88rising's guest lineup and not being a secret guest that was announced only days before the show? It's crazy how you'll overlook so many variables.

It's obvious they do that out of necessity, because there's nothing else really going on for the group since like October 2020.

The crowd was dead, nothing wrong with that. They didn’t know their songs. 
 

And I said it’s going to be hard if the demand is still not there. If you compare their Spotify and AM global stats, they are behind compared to the other 4th gen groups.
 

Even if they are announced earlier, It take more than having a big fan base.

Hmm yes? A lot of people became fans during this performance. It was an iconic moment for Kpop. It was the first time a Kpop gg performs there and the reception was good.
