Dialamba Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 I know some of y’all hate Blackpink but you don’t have to be delulu sometimes it’s okay to admit a group is doing great job

OrgVisual Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 I can't @ SOME people still saying the vocals and fanchants are pre-recorded no wonder they are stanning their tone-deaf faves
BadX Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Aespachella doesn’t really have an it factor other than the fact that they turned their mics on and being their… idk US concert debut(?). Objectively, it did its job being quite polished and well rounded of a performance, but there wasn’t exactly a high point that was like “wow!”

DanyelP23 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Honestly one way in which SM took from YG regarding AESPA / BlackPink is creating a moment of excusivity. Just like the way each time BP releases music feels exclusive (bcs they have rare comebacks), the idea in itself of AESPA singing live became an EVENT of its own.
Harrier Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 It's a heinous crime that BP probably only have one comeback left before the inevitable YG contract mess/Baemon replacement. I don't want to fight blinks bc I like BP and I'm mad about how absurdly content starved their run has been too Like, I kind of get the Coachella gatekeeping, It was a special, historic moment for Blackpink, in the context of a career where there aren't that many moments.

I always cackle at Jeknee breathing for life after the dance break. No it was not. Bc except singing live for the first time, the performance didn’t have any outstanding moment. No one is going to remember this set. It happened to soon in their career unfortunately.

Maybe they would've left more of an impression if they were allowed more time to gain experience with crowds but that's SMs fault , management seem keen on skipping steps as if they're chasing something. I'm gonna need to hear the official of the new song but it sounds cute even if it's filler. Overall SM got what they wanted for their mediaplay , aespa will benefit and their stans seem content so everyone who already supported them won. SM just sucks at putting on a show tbh. Year end, aespa was the only artist consistently not getting any special dance breaks, back dancers, intricate stages, etc. The fact that they couldn't even be bothered to have a live band or more "hype" versions of their songs for a huge festival like Coachella. Ugh. SM really needs someone who cares about performances on their executive team because right now they just don't have it.

I thought earlier but aespa is the most hyped GG besides BP everytime they do something it’s always an event, I don’t know how SM did it but it’s working. We want a comeback.

I need interesting music that is more radio friendly than absurd + good adlibs and high notes as a climax but not ridiculous. aespa is too experimental/out there sometimes. IVE is pretty generic so far. aespa tries to fit too many high notes for no reason. IVE literally has none due to no outstanding vocalist. STAYC has the most potential to give me what I want, but BEP keeps giving them lowkey tracks and its so irritating. Why can't he make anymore Cheer Up/LOA/Likey/Fancy anymore

If you need any help orienting on the livestream, they come after Steve Lacy and before Brockhampton and right before them there's a group of male dancers in red doing a dance routine. You literally saved my life. Thank you so much sister!!!

DanyelP23 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Are there any news/tea regarding SM's 4th gen BG? I think them and Baemon are the only ones left. I need Lee Soo Man to give us a 4 max 5 members BG with noise free music, vocal talent & high quality visuals. Something like a SHINee/Red Velvet hybrid, and with all members adults. The nshytizens meltdowns ALONE would be worth it
