i just find it so amelodic and basic honestly except for the outro ? and jeon soyeon is so hit or miss to me. shes kinda goofy but happy to for their success after many years ig

one thing about NMISS stans is they're gonna denigrate other groups' vocals and then post receipts from studio recordings with dozens of takes and post-processing and editing  the girls are beautiful and obviously talented but if you watch their livestream rehearsals the gap between them and æspa is really not that large

Pablo Vittar just professed their love for Blackpink and said they saw their Coachella set. The way Aespa gets eclipsed in all aspects is practically cosmic.

I don't get the correlation between Pablo sharing their 2019 coachella experience and giving BP a shoutout has to do with aespa's 2022 appearance but go off I guess.

Some girls are not performers and that's okay. They had a fun time I guess and the same SM stans that believed the fake media play will eat up something so ultimately....dull.

 

SingSing did well though except the fake high notes

 

Anyway, the point of them being here was for SM to mediaplay their importance in Korea. This will do as little for their American exposure and popularity as their Macy Parade and Nick Cannon appearances. Instead put that time and effort into a Korean tour.

 

Lowkey a waste of time but I genuinely hope they have fun in Cali and make some friends. Maybe hit up Jaden he's probably milling about somewhere.

Maybe SM should have rearranged the songs, got rid of the choreo and got a live rock band playing behind them.

Yeah they should have had this kinda success for masterpieces like Hann or Lion but better late than never. Tomboy is that BOP, even Soyeon’s cringe rap is starting to sound iconic at this point (but she should never rap on English again, sis can absolutely murder everybody in Korean rap but English sounds funny out of her mouth).

Timing? An iconic event that’s being commemorated 3 years later and right before Aespa’s moment of hopeful mimicry?

Yes, because Pabllo Vittar celebrating a high point in their career thinking about how a group they have loved for years (before aespa even existed) also performed there = Pabllo deciding she wanted to shade aespa by bringing up BLACKPINK.

 

I don't think Pabllo's brain works like yours.
