Agreed. Visually Cardigan and Willow have stunning moments, but her work with Joseph Kahn was SUPREME.

The only dud Joseph Kahn made with Taylor is End Game, and even that's not a bad video, there's just not much to it. The videos Taylor has made with some directors have been good, with some directors they've been pretty trash, and by herself, they range from meh to pretty good. However, the core of Taylor's videography, and the chunk that should win her a Vanguard are the 8 Joseph Kahn videos 100%

I mean just look at her album art in the past, her best was Red and it was just an H&M vintage spread.

1989 was fun and all, because of how happy she seemed to fully experience pop stardom and going all out with the visuals and all, but it was never really her thing and she only wanted to try it for awhile before returning to her actual passion which is making music that mainly revolves around lyricism without the theatrics around it... also... the 1989 success was a bonus, my favorite thing about it was seeing her going full on pure pop and still serve excellence and teaching everyone how it's done (on the first try) without selling out musically or acting like a clown...

The Man is horrible but ha worst music video has to be either End Game or Ready for It. No amount of fancy CGI will compensate for the lackluster plot line (or lack thereof rather) and just plain boring videos. End game is boring and ready for it is just sh$t all over once you look past the expensive visuals that have no relation to the song

This is something people don't appreciate nearly enough. Taylor made the jump from country singer to #1 pop star in the world over the course of 1 album, with no gimmicks and without selling out, just by making good music. No one else has come close to that, and it's something that we should appreciate more.

We don't want her to be everywhere promoting. We just want her to choose the best singles and not choose abhorrent singles ala RFI or YNTCD or ME!. That's it. Plus it's a shame great songs like exile / the 1 / august were never sent to radio.

She actually kept the theatrics and lyricism with 1989, Rep and Lover, that's why those are my 3 favs from her, she IS still that person, just in a different moment on her career.
