How stans still call Red a country album, is as real as her country accent.

I really dont know how you can rank this catalogue

Tier 1: evermore, folklore, Red, reputation, Speak Now

Tier 2: 1989, Fearless, Lover

Tier 3: Taylor Swift

Alphabetically.

Cant do more than that, and even this feel rude :gaycat6: And I flipped albums around a couple of times

Taylor Swift hates women

I think Ms. @Nexto spotted something else she might have disliked other than women.

I bet she thought Phoebe was a local nobody, who sounded like a boy going through puberty anyway, hence, granting her lines. No offense sis @Marla Singer

The way y’all defend a certain album only to put it at the very losing end.

I just know, my hypothesis on the social construct, of disliking reputation, holds weight.

i think it's something like

debut 10% pop

fearless 30% pop

speak now 50% pop

red 70% pop

If Nothing New were sang by three female singer-songwriters, who would be your pick as the baton-passer to Taylor?

??? - Taylor - Phoebe

Mine would be Stevie Nicks. @Tusk

Carly Simon would have been a serve on that song.

Speaking of the That’s The Way I’ve Always Heard It Should Be songstress, love the fact that Lord will probably be showing up at her second consecutive Rock N Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony to celebrate Carly later this year.

Some of the album rankings y'all posted above are HORRIFYING. Some of y'all clearly have ear infections or some sort of exotic fungus growing in your ears that immediately needs to be removed.

The true and proper ranking is:

Evermore

Folklore

---

RED/SN (switches back and forth depending if I'm angry or sad)

-

1989/Fearless (switches back and forth depending if I want pop or country)

-

Lover/Reputation (switches back and forth depending if I hate myself or love myself)

-

Mixtape (though I fear it'll jump up two tiers with the re-recording :gaycat6:)

The commentary is sending :dies:

My ranking is pretty much the same, although I never have to go back and forth on reputation vs Lover; part of loving myself is accepting that I don’t vibe with cutesy **** like Lover.

Can’t wait for Elvira to work her magic on puta TV and make it half listenable :jonnycat:

With Sky Ferreira having a beef with Lover stan, Halsey, I think our dreams of Ariel Rechstaid + Sky Ferreira + Taylor on 19KT9 are OVER. @Beyonnaise

Y’all don’t even stream Girl At Home TV

There absolutely no way she's going to recreate Reputation's godly production. It's her most experimental record and it cannot be made twice. :coffee2: That said, I kinda have a good feeling about it and 1989 (esp after WDTV and TLTV). I'm mainly perched for the vault tracks on those two albums anyways.

I'm not sure about Christopher (he's done a great job so far tho) but at least Shellback is on board. And King Jack obviously. :michael:

Imagine if she removes the first three tracks from the album

Imagine saying this when New Year’s Day and Nice Things are worse than those 3 songs. :jonnycat:

Nice try New Years Day is her best song

SN is not better than 1989. There is a reason 1989 won AOTY, loved by people all around the world.

I will grant that New Year’s Day is well written. But the recording falls flat and the production sucks.

Wow. It truly was the teaser of her direction for the album that followed. :jonnycat:

It really came alive in the tour performance though. The way the song is about finding fulfillment in her personal / romantic life and she combined it with Long Live, which is about finding fulfillment in her career / professional life… a truly inspired and magical medley that the standom doesn’t appreciate enough.

But it’s easily one of my least favorite of her Antonoff songs. Maybe the TV will fix it. :fonso:

The absolute tastelessness from all of you in here :toofunny2:

I need to put you all on my ignore list tbh. Just seeing you guys proudly and shamelessly parade around your egregious utter lack of taste makes me want to get perma banned :rip:.

My lord, get some taste and clean those clogged ears. All of you.

New Year's Day isn't bad, I just hate how it sticks out on the album. But it fits narrative wise though.

Nice Things is the only diabolical song on Reputation, End Game lowkey too if it wasn't for her amazing verse towards the end.

The fact is that New Year’s Day isn’t even her best song with “new” (Nothing New) or “day” (The Best Day) in the title, and only wins “year” by virtue of having no competition.

You guys I still stream cardigan daily! It really is the best song ever! She's the best songwriter ??

New Year's Day is one of her very worst songs, yeah

Worst song on regurgitation by miles. I'd honestly rather listen to ME!th and that's not even an exaggeration
