I better see people praising this song one day, retrospectively. It's just so good. The fact that she looked back at all of her pain and came up with this

I still think ts12 is coming. There's a reason why she hasn't posted despite the tour ending

I've quietly been thinking the same thing. I need a win

The chokehold this album had on me:loki:

Spoiler

I would kill for a ttpd only tour. The album is so theatrical already and she could go all out like she did with its eras tour section

Spoiler

Act 1: Small town/ Western

But Daddy I Love Him

So Highschool

Fresh Out The Slammer

I Can Fix Him

Florida (this one will transition from a small town setting to the bayou setting she used in the eras tour performance)

Act 2: Insane asylum/ Witch Hunt

The Prophecy

Fortnight

The Balck Dog

Who's Afraid Of Little Old Me

Down Bad (same alien abduction concept)

Act 3: Acoustic piano/ Guitar set

Loml

Surprise piano song

Surprise Guitar song

Act 4: Sensual/ Recreation of the album's cover art/ small apartment

Title Track (only first verse/pre chorus/ Chorus

Guilty As Sin?

IMGONNAGETYOUBA

Act 5: Military marching band

The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived

So Long London

Encore: Ziegfeld Follies

I Can Do It With A Broken Heart

I can see the vision in my mind :jonnycat:

We all know Taylor is impossible to predict, but here's my shot…

Taylor's debut feature film will most likely be released in the fall, partly because of awards season (which we know Taylor cares about), but also bc of the success of the Eras Tour film which worked really well as an October release. It just makes sense that she'd repeat that strategy. This means a fall release in maybe 2025 or 2026… If next year, she'll have to start working on it pretty much right after the holidays, which I don't doubt our favorite workaholic would be up to:celestial5:

She'll want the best possible image and media relationship going into the release, as that could be a major factor in how the film is received. This, imo, makes Rep TV unlikely to be released right before the film. It's a dividing album, the Kimye drama is gonna stir up some hot takes, and critics will be extra harsh on the potentially botched production this time… Or maybe I'm still just traumatized from the OG's release, Idk:doc: If the film really is scheduled for late next year, we should propably expect Rep TV either ASAP or in 2026. Personally I think she'll hold on to it for as long as possible to extent the guaranteed success of the re-recording.

Debut TV on the other hand is a sure crowd- and critic-pleaser, so I'm betting on that to be out in the spring. It would be perfect to keep her music fans engaged without overshadowing the film, which a new album would do.

…Which leads us to TS12. Like RepTV, I'm expecting it after awards season in 2026, possibly coinciding with a new tour or festival trek:celestial5: Or… It's gonna be out right about now or early next year:clownny:

Watch me be wrong about all of this:clownny:

I'm telling you, people are tasteless. This song will be appreciated retrospectively in a couple of years.

I don't know why, but 'The Albatross' has always had a special place in my heart since TTPD release and it's hitting EXCEPTIONALLY HARD today. :weeps:

If I didn't get TWILY at my show (thank Jesus I did), this was the #2 I wanted to hear. :duca:

Clara Ho took its spot on the standard and I'll never be happy about that.

It was rare, I was there

Ugh, I love this album so much. It takes me back to covid Christmas on the coast. It was quite stormy and such a mood. I go back to December there every time I listen.

Just realized Sunday might have been the last time we've witnessed an evermore song being played live in a very very very long time (if ever). :cries:

I can't wait for Guilty As Sin? To have her deserved cruel summer moment 4 years from now :jonnycat:. The song could become a hot AC/ AC staple for her career.

TTPD needs a hit to ensure it'll reach 10 billion streams in 2025.

I hope she's planning to release 'Guilty as Sin' as a single, with a stunning video that has the potential to go viral.

The fact that the Eras book sold around 1 million copies in its first week, and from Target only, is an interesting indicator of how many die-hard fans she actually has. There's only one version of the book, so we can assume anyone who wanted it only bought it once. Combined with the fact that lots of fans probably skipped the book but would a buy a new studio album, I think it's safe to say that 1-2 million individuals bought a physical copy of TTPD during release week.
