I fear this is the blueprint of Hits Different.

this isn't isolated scenario. i've seen countless comments like this across whole tour from different cities. it is interesting how there is a big disconnection between online vs offline perception of swiftes and how online stans skew the image of majority of fans

Never be so kind you forget to be clever
Never be so clever you forget to be kind

Imagine having the best song of all time on your least selling album

Her most relatable song to me:grump::grump::grump:

I was tame I was gentle till the circus life made me mean :grump:

Cause you lured me

And you hurt me

And you taught me

… You caged me and then you called me crazy

I am what I am 'cause you trained me :grump:

Evermore is full of gems. TTDS, Cowboy like me, right where you left me are otherworldly.

If this was said about anyone else, there would be headlines about it.

"Overwritten" has to be the stupidest critique and biggest reach those biased critics had about ttpd :deadbanana2:

I hope she does slow rock-type songs ala Michael Learns To Rock during their peak in the 90s. That music had SEA on a chokehold.

It is very true that she planted the seeds of a lifelong commitment of her (newer) fans with The Eras Tour. She's given us so much, and I think she'll reap the benefit of it for at least the next decade.

Combine SEA streams and sales, and it's still less than US.

I fear she should avoid that type of sound that America says no to.

i really like that part about long term view. taylor does really strike like long term planner and it's nice to have confirmation. it's also interesting dichotomy, because while she is long term planner, she also is able to pivot very quickly (kanye -> reputation, covid -> folkmore, masters -> re-releases)
