Feanor Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Her US pure sales in the last week: '1989 (TV)' - 9.9k 'Lover' - 9.0k 'folklore' - 6.8k 'Midnights' - 6.2k 'evermore' - 5.3k 'Speak Now (TV)' - 4.5k 'RED (TV)' - 4.3k 'reputation' - 1.8k It's kinda crazy how she can keep selling so many pure album sales units week after week, even tho she has basically done nothing in the last week. Especially since all of these albums already have great total sales, so who are the 7k people that randomly decide to buy 'folklore' on a random March week? 4
Taylor Sniffs Posted March 23 Posted March 23 (edited) Is there a songwriting term for what Taylor usually does after the bridge where she sings the chorus differently (soft, slow buildup, etc.)? Like how she sings in the last minute of Getaway Car, YBWM, Mine, and more? Edited March 23 by Taylor Sniffs
305 Posted March 23 Posted March 23 So are we thinking that Cruel Summer will survive being in the chart as summer approaches?

It's such a Taylor Swift thing that I haven't noticed if others do it too besides the new generation that is clearly inspired by her (Olivia)
SuburbanSluts Posted March 24 Posted March 24 She really could've milked the OF Fearless era so much more. Forever & Always and YNS would've could've should've.mp3 been singles plus something from the platinum edition. 1

"Lover" is really shaping up to be her signature album. Or... it already is one.

I know Pink has one or two songs on The Truth About Love like that, I think Adele's done it. I feel like it may actually be a fairly common Max Martin trick. I swear I notice it in so many songs but I can't think of specific titles atm On 3/22/2024 at 4:32 PM, Feanor said: who are the 7k people that randomly decide to buy 'folklore' on a random March week? "Jump Then Fall" was played on Radio Disney's Music Mailbag and I think it was supposed to be a single, but they went with "Today Was a Fairytale" instead.
