Oh see, now that the weather has gotten cold and miserable this is pretty much exactly what I listen to as well :gaylorcat2:

I haven't gotten much in to Sufjan Stevens yet, but he's been on my list forever. Do you have recommendations of where to start?

Absolutely! My main recommendation, personally, is starting with Carrie & Lowell. I don’t know if that’s where most people start, but it’s recent, acclaimed, and where I started. I think it’s a particularly good entry point for Taylor fans. It's still my favorite thing he’s done, though I love his latest album, too. My favorite individual song is The Only Thing and I would DIE for Taylor to do a cover.

Y’all I just peeped the thread having a meltdown over Spotify’s star on her songs and I’m :ahh: it’s bad for OTHs, isn’t it? Isn’t it, isn’t it, isn’t it?

I remember when @GraceRandolph was hiding behind Taylor to drag Adele nonstop during the 30 era, they even had a Taylor avi and everything :ryan3:

Him not proposing and neglecting her really hurt her:sad: all these speculations didn’t help either

They REALLY want us to know that Joe didn’t bother trying to put a (paper) ring on that finger :jonnycat:

Whack him (and Deuxmoi) again for me, Trina

That dude Deuxmoi should have been sued a long time ago. It's okay to fake fake news about music but faking news about one's personal life is just INSANE :rip:

something really happened between them really recently or she is just getting ready for new album.

Ok, a I have to give an assurance to you guys here:

Many of you are TERRIBLE at responding or rebuffing to dumb comments. especially the dummest of the dumb one:

“ only her fanbase listens, not GP”

This statement I so stupid I laughed every time I see it. but then all of you FAILs so miserably to rebuff it that I’m just completely stunned.

All you have to do is rebuff it head-on:

“Taylor has set all the record on listenership on AM or Spotify you dumb ___. She has more GP listeners than you have braincells”

Or

“Only a flopped act and their tiny fanbase isn’t  part of the GP.

With Taylor’s fanbase being in the tens or hundreds of millions, that is part of the GP, but Im not sure if I could say the same about you and your fav.

Or

“Just because Taylor has more fans than your fav has total listeners (casual, normal or avid fans) combined, doesn’t mean her casual listenership isn’t bigger than your fav’s fanbase either”

See how easy it is? You hit their stupid heads with the Most Basic Numbers.

You don’t pivot to “look at her tour numbers, her albums”etc as if you need go there. In fact, when you give ground, that’s how you LOSE a debate.

Can I ask something stupid (I'm relatively new to everything about her)... Who's her manager? I know Tree is her publicist, but I'm curious.

Thanks and I hope y'all don't drag me. ffkfs

She doesn't have a manager. She has her company, 13 management. So basically, her and her parents are her management team, since they pretty much veto anything that's decided by the other employee.

She technically hasn’t had one for a decade or more. She has her own management company “13 Management” but obviously she oversees and has the final say in everything.

if there’s a head “manager” it would be Robert Allen. He’s the other old man besides her dad who she is arguing with in that Miss Americana scene about coming out against Trump.
