tbh I’ve never **loved** the bon iver features - Coney Island and Exile are some of my least favorites of each respective album

I feel you, once upon a time my top 5 female artists would’ve included Gaga Britney Rihanna  But they’ve all dropped down a lot because I enjoy others way more like Florence Welch, Lana del Rey, Lorde, Banks, Tinashe, Ellie Goulding, Carly Rae Jepsen hell even Billie Eilish. I just have come to anppreciate artists that make great albums over artists that typically prioritize singles with relatively weaker album tracks. Full bodies of work are what I resonate with these days 

Which is why I have always held Taylor in the highest regard, she transcends just pop music — she’s a musician. In every conceivable aspect.

I love it, but I love everything in that sphere. The Alcott, Carolina, Renegade, and Birch ( + Safe & Sound which I’ve retconned into this universe) are all basically extensions of the folk+more era to me and I think they’re all 10/10s.

This is a bit like my relationship with Gaga.

 

She’s always going to hold the biggest space in my heart for the nostalgia… but I rarely find myself listening to most of her music… especially in comparison to Taylor.

 

Oh well… they all got crowns etc
