No popgirl on her level is doing that **** she would be a trailblazer in that regard. The one tiny thing that makes me worry about her pursuing other creative outlets is that, while I obviously support it and respect her autonomy, I worry it'll slow down the music. A person can only do so much at once, even if they're Taylor Swift. If it would be truly fulfilling to her to work on these other kinds of projects then I hope she does it! But I can't honestly say I'd be super interested in all of them, especially on the film side, even as a lifelong fan. I'd maybe read a book, though - I did kind of wish the All Too Well novel from the video had been something that actually happened. 1

She Put so much music Out there since 2019. She needs a break from music after the re-recordings are done.

Other artists bigger than her like Madonna have done way less in the span of a larger time frame. For context, by Madge's 20th anniversary in 2003 she had 13 records out with like 4 of them being big compilation or soundtrack albums. Taylor is allowed to breathe when she wants fr I agree she deserves rest TS11 can be in 2026-27 that can wait and be another 1989 level era for her once she goes disco

Conveniently, I'd honestly like her to transition to more stripped-back sounds that would hopefully make the process a little less involved, with less intense promotional schedules and tours. I don't mind her easing up - what we're getting now is incredible workaholic energy, and I think it'll work itself out of her system by the end of the Eras Tour, not to mention she has to eventually stop re-peaking at some point. I think the novel route is the non-musical creative outlet I'd most like to see her tackle even though it doesn't seem like she's really expressed much interest in that. I think she has this talent with words that would translate so well, and she obviously has the ability to construct a narrative and a story, even if there's something in her personal life that inspired it. Imagine a Folklore-inspired novel and an Evermore-inspired sequel Truth be told, I think the reason I'm not excited about her Searchlight Pictures thing is just because the only piece of work that she's directed that I found truly compelling was the All Too Well short film, and it's so hard to tell whether that was because it was All Too Well or because of an innate ability that she has for direction on top of her songwriting abilities. I'm fully prepared for her to shut me up and wow me.

Peak Now Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 This was a good re-recording! Except for Haunted, for which Chris Rowe deserves a life sentence in prison
Taylor fanboy Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 Surprised at the ATRL acclaim. I’ve been a fan since Speak Now and these are not IT.

réveuse Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 TV Rankings 1. Speak Now TV 2. Red TV 3. Fearless TV 2

Peak Now Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 As an OG Speak Now fan I am actually impressed by this re-recording. I thought I would hate it like the Red fans but nah it was a serve
Peroxide Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 My guess is… they were going to release a single but due to Cruel Summer smashing (plus Karma) there’s hardly any point? I hope 1989 gets a splashy rollout.
