PeterPan Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 (edited) ◆ Actual line-up (Serebro 8.0) ◆ Daria Kuznetsova (Keiko), Aigul Valiulina (Aya) and Diana Rak (Di). Serebro (Russian for "Silver") was a Russian girl group formed in 2006 by producer Maxim Fadeev to launch the career of Elena Temnikova, who he signed after her participation in the second season of Star Factory. The group was selected to represent Russia at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest, where they debuted finishing in third place with "Song #1", scoring a total of 207 points. Their success continued in Russia, where the four singles from their debut album, ОпиумRoz, had a good chart performance. Nevertheless in 2009, after having been just three years in the band, Marina Lizorkina decided to leave in order to resume her painting career and Anastasia Karpova was chosen to replace her. During the following years, a much more sexualized image and the release of lead single "Мама Люба" whose music video went viral, garnered them worldwide media attention and commercial success with their second album, Mama Lover (2012). Starting in 2013, the group began having several line-up changes due to the departures of Anastasia Karpova and band leader Elena Temnikova just months apart. Daria Shashina and Polina Favorskaya, who were selected as Karpova and Temnikova replacements, also decided to leave just three years later. All the songs released by the group since 2013 were compiled and published as their third album, Сила Трёх, in 2016 and Katya Kishchuk and Tanya Morgunova joined the band to fill in for Shashina and Favorskaya. In late 2018 Maxim Fadeev decided to reboot the group choosing three new girls through a casting that was broadcasted on YouTube. Mariana Kochurova, Liza Kornilova and Irina Titova were introduced as the new members on February 2019 but on October 30, 2019, Fadeev decided to terminate the contracts with all the artist signed to his record label, including Serebro, because of the company's internal problems. During the following years, even though they were disbanded, the group's popularity didn't diminish and their songs continued increasing listeners on streaming platforms with "Сладко" becoming viral, which led to the release of 11, a compilation of all the songs that were not included in any of their previous albums and four unreleased demos. On April 5, 2024 a comeback started to be teased and months later, on November 29, Aigul Valiulina, Diana Rak and Daria Kuznetsova were revealed as the new members with the release of "Song #2". ◆ Former members ◆ Marina Lizorkina (2006 - 2009), Anastasia Karpova (2009 - 2013), Elena Temnikova (2006 - 2014), Daria Shashina (2013 - 2016) Polina Favorskaya (2014 - 2017), Olga Seryabkina (2006 – 2019), Katya Kishchuk (2016 – 2019), Tanya Morgunova (2018 – 2019) Irina Titova (2019), Liza Kornilova (2019), Mariana Kochurova (2019) ◆ Discography ◆ ◆ Videography ◆ Spoiler ◆ Social/digital media ◆ Edited January 6 by PeterPan 1

I just can't call them "SEREBRO", if there isn't at least one original member, it's literally a completely different group. But anyway, i'll hear what they come up with...
Cry Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Time to update the OP @PeterPan They already released an EP and are teasing a new single for the end of this month (although it's a scrap from the Olga - Polina - Daria lineup, back in 2015) called Надоело / Nadoelo

SpaceOddity Posted January 1 Posted January 1 The ringtone-length EP remixes of the old stuff were mid and no one asked for that **** but I get that they're supposed to showcase a change for the Serebro brand. Let Us Make Love turned out to be a grower. I was ready to completely write the new line up off but I'm interested, not going to lie. 1

Plus I always wanted to hear the Malo Tebya and Ya Tebya Ne Otdam remixes in full. Those two and Dyshi also use Aygul and Diana's vocals. The other remixes however use the old soloists' vocals indeed. Also, did you like Minor or not really?
SpaceOddity Posted January 1 Posted January 1 I wouldn't mind the mechanical sexy industrial sound of LUML bleeding into more tracks in the future as long as it's fleshed out properly. Glukoza going for the exact same sound after parting with Fadeev is hilarious though lol.

Subzero Posted January 1 Posted January 1 I'm digging the LUML EP! I've grown to really enjoy LUML, I'm curious to hear them live because the chorus sounds exactly like Olga I'm curious if this was her/if she recorded it years ago and they just used it on the track because it's driving me nuts Minor is my favorite track so far I'm ready and excited for more 1

Knowing how lazy and money hungry Fadeev is lately, he is likely going to create more songs like Malo Tebya, YTNO, Otpusti Menya, Nadoelo. Glukoza apparently was inspired by Sophie, Arca and the likes for her new album.

But Dyshi is definitely the superior and may I say one of the best songs in their discography.

Cry Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Just now, SpaceOddity said: Hold up, for real? So he didn't do these? Nope, he didn't touch those. The 2nd song is the first one she released outside of her label. Same for the other ones forward. Though I don't think he touched any of her songs post Bez Tebya.
Cry Posted January 1 Posted January 1 1 minute ago, SpaceOddity said: Yeah, it is. Beautifully written too. Fadeev said once in one of his stories that the Dyshi we have now is actually an unfinished demo and wanted to work more on it but he said something about not having the right equipment or something at the time.
