Also, unlike the Xmas songs, Rihanna would have massive airplay on her side + the streams. (The airplay would drop the last week of December due to the freeze but soar right back up).

No idea tbh... Coz Taylor is releasing after rereleases and we don't know how much she will sell... But she is always a big album seller. I think she won't release the album this year. Then she will do it. Release a single this month and let the people know the song well to bop at the superbowl. And the album at the end of January. With a second single that she could perform at the grammys if they are after her SB show. Other option, drop the single in January and the album a week after the SB.

Her lead (and other singles) always have really strong debuts but fizzle out after a month or two, her last real hit was like from 1989

They are too close to the SB. Maybe she could attend the grammys, or present some award... But I doubt we get any performances before the 12th of february

I'm tipping she would be exhausted between running multiple businesses, preparing for the SB / r9 and being a mum. I wouldn't blame her if she looked unhappy in pap shots
