I think any of these songs could be a possibility:

PDR

SOS

Umbrella

DSTM

Run This Town (?)

Rude Boy

LTWYL (?)

Only Girl/WMN

WFL/WHYB/ TIWYCF (maybe just WFL)

Diamonds

Stay

Work

Needed Me (I really hope NOT)

LOTB

Wild Thoughts (?)

LMU

R9 Lead snippet w/ midnight release (one can dream)

The bold ones 99% sure. Omg whoever created this setlist had one tough job! I personally hope for no guests, especially not Jay or Eminem but Calvin Harris segment could be fun/high energy.

Out of previous performers who fit the most songs? I am nervous.

You really believe SOS will be included? Why would she perform it? It's so old and pointless to spend time on it IMO.

I guess because it was her first #1 and the energy matches with a SB performance. Also I think she wants to incorporate each era...just my thoughts.

This coincides with what HDD said a couple months ago, that she would do residencies in US arenas instead of stadiums (so that she wouldn't have to travel much)

Not me going 10 days in a row to Madison Sq Garden 💀😂

Ignore them! Lack of taste in this forum. I do like it (i don’t see it for the SB tho).

She’ll probably do a mixture of arenas and stadiums.

She is most certainly doing stadiums in Europe - it’s not even a question.

The arena dates will most likely be U.S-based.

Stadiums:

Europe

South America

Oceania

Africa

Both:

North America

Asia

This is how I see it anyway if it’s a truly global tour. :bird:

Its not a bad song, they just hate its not uptempo.

They just mad cause it's a ballad, and not a banger.

The way yall get extra defensive about LMU when people here drag solid Rih tunes left and right everyday:deadbanana2:

Don’t be insecure about it, you’re allowed to like it and I’m allowed not to. It’s actually not a very unpopular opinion in general either. And no, I’m not hating on it because it’s “slow” Whatever that means. Some of my fave Rihanna songs are ballads. Don’t put words into my mouth when I explained why I don’t want to hear it on the Halftime Show:skull:

My main problem with LMU is that Rih straight up doesn't sound great on it

I think sis sounds great but it’s just a shallow surface level repetitive song with underwhelming production. I need love I need love… Like damn fr how did you come up with that?

Not yall acting like I was expecting EDM Rih on a song made for a dead guy :skull:

I honestly think she could use the "hold me hold me" part of LMU for a cut 10 second transition from a ballad and then go into dancehall. Stranger things have happened. The photos from the Rihanna Drive commercial have LMU written on the wall? If that is even a commercial for SB who knows...

I wouldn't be mad at that to be honest. I much prefer the sound and atmosphere in arenas.

Especially in Europe I hate stadium shows as most of the show takes place in daylight.

I still think this would make a great setlist for the SuperBowl:

1. Pon de Replay

2. What's My Name / Rude Boy / Work (medley)

3. Run This Town (with Jay-Z)

4. Umbrella (Jay-Z intro)

5. Stay

6. Don't Stop The Music / Only Girl (In the World) / Where Have You Been (medley)

7. Diamonds

8. We Found Love

Swap Stay for BBHMM or LOTB and its a win.

If there are medleys i hope to God it isn't the same person who mixed the VMA medley. That was just bad (the mix not the performance)

In 13 minutes. I think we will hear 4 main songs and a lot of transition to try to include all her hits.

I don't care she can sing whatever she wants. I'm open-minded.

Let's enjoy. I know she will eat that stage.

The Apple promotion looks like an imminent release of music. The comercial, the countdown with the podcast by albums. But I think we will get the album later in this year.

I actually think it's a great strategy to use the Super Bowl to boost her back catalog and remind everyone of her legacy, before releasing a new album. You can't just come back after 7 years and drop a whole new album like you never left - she's one of the very few artists (if not the only one) who didn't benefit from catalog boosts in the streaming era, considering she released virtually nothing from 2016 through late 2022. See how even Adele suffered from such a long hiatus in the streaming era (with "30")

Yea true. This is what Bey did for ST and it gave her her biggest first week sales of her career and she didn’t have to lift a finger cone release week

The Dancehall medley was great (especially the interpolations) but you’re right the EDM mixing was awful. I dont think it’s the same person, I can’t remember but I think someone posted tweets from whoever is the musical director for the SB a few days ago talking about giving a little bit of every genre from her catalogue.
