Did some of you even watch the trial? There was NO EVIDENCE of Johnny abusing Amber + he won the trial. She was the one spreading lies and smearing him :rip:

A simple Google search would tell you that he lost the trial in the UK, deeming him a wife beater per the UK High Court on 12 counts of domestic abuse

How was this even thought about in the first place? Like who thought this was a good idea

We will go with the public trial that revealed amber herd as the abuser.

To the public he has been vindicated and we love him again .

Just say you want to unstan and go. Johnny proved his innocence and Rihanna is free to have whoever tf she want in HER show. Most of the people complaining online have probably never watched a SXF show :priceless:

Thank you someone with actual sense. So many fickle stans who were probably success stans anyway. The uproar about this has been ridiculous to be honest. If you want to unstan just say it and GO! No one is here for whinging.

lol 1 corrupt judge who sentenced him based on a british tabloid article (which is known to be the worst press of the entire planet), the same tabloid press that's been disgusting and racist against Rih time and time again in the past :lmao:

the snake Heard has lost in the court of public opinion, and in front of the jury of many people. I'd trust them any day over the corrupt UK justice system. that Judge Andrew Nichol was exposed for being intimately connected with Dan Wootton, the Sun's journalist who posted the defamatory allegation that johnny was a “wife-beater"

this is why Johnny appealed again and again in the UK until he was fed up and decided to risk everything with a defamation trial in the US. he knew he would win and he did.

now y'all can just unstan or move the hell on

Oh wow I had to come to ATRL universe to see that perception of Depp's case. Oh wow!

I don't get the depp thing either. I can understand others being disappointed for her decision if moral justice is your priority, which is already a shaky thing to stand on nowadays since nothing is black and white and moral high ground is often used as a weapon to fit  someone's narrative, if not used for the most absurd things (just look at certain fanbase in this forum blurring the line and using it to flame hate due to a possibility of her getting a #1). There's a lot of unnecessary noise already and it won't get better since she will be more public in the next few months. Its important to sort out which ones are genuine and which one aren't. Make your own decision and don't let a mob mentality decide or even affect you. Rihanna will be fine. She is more than this one decision (I actually commend her for not giving a **** and sticking to what she herself believe in whether its right or wrong) and I stan her for her voice and music. If it gets too much emotionally...i understand and log off for awhile. Emotion is temporary and so is this.

The navy likes to project their own beliefs to Rihanna herself, or how they want her to music and career to go (making it hard to please everybody)...  but they forget she's a grown woman who has her own set of beliefs, and if there's one thing consistent, she will not let people tell her often what to do. Remember she said herself that shes not a role model.

Also, hi fellow navy... ive been lurking here for so long,

Soundtrack songs are often hit or miss so I wasn't bothered about not liking LMU.... but I hate that's literally being pushed as big comeback on all formats. What a waste of hype.

Holding Rihanna up to a high moral standard is bizarre to me tbh. She's always done questionable things. She got back with her own abuser (which to me was completely understandable and not something to call her out on but was a moment when many did). She is a victim of abuse and that will affect the way she will views this issue.

I find it very hard to call her out on this at all tbh as someone who simply hasn't been through what she has.

Similarly I find it hard to form a view of Depp or Heard. Both individuals are clearly troubled and it's far from black and white what went on between them. I wouldn't want to associate myself with either of them.

I think she's dumb because this is so unnecessary but to see people taking a moral high ground whilst posting/liking memes about her being cancelled is a joke tbh. Clearly some of these people aren't actually as outraged as they claim as they themselves are making light of it.

Are you talking about radio formats?

Because if that's the case, this song is literally touching formats Rih has never been played before and she was already a multi format queen, but this is whole another level. i don't think any other song would've done this but this one. Radio deal or not, at the end of day if they send a song that the radio format in particular doesn't like they won't play it no matter what, to not alienate their listeners. LMU can be heard by black audience, white audience, christians, non-christians, pop listeners, r&b listeners, pop/rock audiences etc ...

you can't blame radio for pushing it because a rih comeback song finally fit their format ...

I feel like this has been the worst day ever for me as a fan. She's getting lashed all over the internet and it makes me sad because these last few years have really developed a lot of goodwill with the public. I hope this didn't squander too much of it and the hate blows over soon.

EDIT: I also think Taylor will keep the number 1. She released a discounted instrumental and we already know how swifties go crazy for her. They've been dragging Rih all week and teaming up with other fandoms while nhevi is being casual as usual. Another L for us. :deadbanana2:

Saw the same for Taylor on IG and YouTube...don't understand why this board has a problem with artists promoting their work lol

On the bright side, If we can focus on keeping LMU stable. The movie should boost us enough to take the number 1 in 2 weeks in the (very) likelihood that we miss it this week. That is unless the rolling effect is nasty and she drops significantly and is unable to climb back up in time (if at all):rip:

It gets even worse IMO: I think the reason she is pushing this as her big comeback is because this is all she has for us.  There is no R9. These 2 Wakanda turds and a lazy SB performance for her to get some more coins is all we gonna get.:hoetenks:

Also the SB set WILL feature Kanye mark my words!

I was thinking about this too - I get the feeling there's nothing else. She's too rich and makes easy money off Fenty Beauty now, why furiously record an album for months on end.
