I'm actually glad the soundtrack happened in a way. The expectations for that comeback were too high and unrealistic. She was going to get dragged regardless and it's better that she is with a song like this. Now the expectations are somewhat leveled if not at negative.

i hope the Johnny Depp thing is true  i'm a big fan.

It may sound a little bit harsh but GET A LIFE... Lift Me Up is not my favourite song but sure as hell it is better than nothing (believe me, I DID NOT want a lullaby for a comeback song). The constant whining is annoying and you gain nothing by doing it.

also I did a little experience of my own and haven't listened to "Lift Me Up" since the weekend

 

and I'm shook to say. she ate UP again. such an earworm. I've been humming the melody and singing the lyrics all week. i really thought I'd forget the song since it's too fresh but her voodoo is unmatchable.

I think I'll buy the album tomorrow if it's out. you never know "Born Again" might be a hidden track
