I get that she was (rightfully) upset that the credits got messed up and that people who are emotional don't always think rationally, but like... I really can't help but feel like she did that with a bit of malice :rip: There's no way someone who's been in the industry that long doesn't know that an artist of Normani's nature isn't the one who's directly controlling credits, and she must have known that the wording of her tweet would sound like she was blaming Normani personally. The reference to "the artist" in one of her follow-up tweets further confirmed the passive-aggressive intent of the whole thing.

Get your 15 minutes of attention on Twitter I guess girl

This is her second or third time tweeting about this. If this was such a huge issue for her, get your paperwork together! I don't always agree with Mani's mother, but the facts are the facts. And the credit has not been updated on all streaming platforms, so I wonder will she keep tweeting.

I know credits are worked out a million different ways, unfortunately today, but this is not a twitter/X issue. By constantly tweeting this, instead of reaching out to management, A&R, RCA, she stirring the pot online, where she clearly see Mani is never favored in the public's opinion.

The way Tayla referred to Normani as "the singer" was very telling imo. Couldn't even say her name and hid a whole bunch of tweets from Normani fans? :rip:

So it seems like All Yours and CP are the ones that are picking up the most steam? What I'm trying to figure out is what is she doing to capitalize off of this? Like what are they trying to do to get the public's attention.

All Yours remix with Chris Brown? Or is it another song with Chris Brown? Also what's pissing me off is why can't we just get a song with her without a damn feature. I swear it's like they don't trust that can't she sell her own music (I don't blame them tbh. Motivation was such a huge waste of money and for her to go on record and say she hates that song.). Like giver her a chance to really perform. I think a good set at a festival would drum up some buzz. However, I'd rather Normani feature than no promo at all. So whatever works. Chris Brown is seeing a surge in popularity so if it's him I won't be that upset.

Where did you get Chris brown from an emoji of a diving board? :deadbanana: I'm convinced some of you like to think the worst case scenario or want to see Mani dragged because unless you have a good reason you just had a mini fit over fanfiction you created in your head.

If she were a bigger artist, this would lowkey be a genius ahead-of-its-time idea to keep your fans engaged in your album long term :eli: When Taylor does this with her next album, Normani will have the last laugh!!

what's all this about? lol

As far as I can tell, they're still working business things álbum related. Which is very odd. It seems like they didn't release the finished product :deadbanana:

This has been on my mind for a while.. when she announced the album I wasn't solely excited that she announced the album.. I was excited because she had new management.. I thought wow, we finally got the title of the album and the album cover under this management .. I thought we would finally be seeing her on stages like festivals and promotional performances and 2 visuals and possibly seeing her on a tour you know doing stuff like her peers and era ya know .. I didn't really care about her charting very high or nothing as long as we could enjoy the era .. so now a month and a half in and there's nothing… but  everything going wrong.. I didn't know things were this bad behind-the-scenes allegedly like why is this happening to her I'm genuinely hurt for her I just know this isn't what she envisioned for her debut album that she's been working on for five years i can only imagine how she feels

I mean have you not seen how black twitter doesn't really mess with Normani? Those would be the only one's that would care. They aren't even listening to her album like that.

You might just be right. I totally forgot about that. I thought it was CB because of the WE video where they are in the pool.

I wish we would stop babying her like that and feeling that bad for her. I mean yeah RCA for sure as a part on this ridiculous rollout but Normani isn't doing anything neither. You have a free platform that you don't even use to promote an album that took you 6yo to make. People don't care about her album and she doesn't too. How you want to be a superstar and the image that is still attached to you is you being « sabotaged » by own your team ? All of this is bullshit, how are you at such an ease with boring your fans that were nothing but loving and patient with you? That type of disrespect started many years ago and it's wasn't a label problem or anything but Normani herself and her inability to connect with her fanbase.

I don't care what anyone says, this remains one of the best albums of 2024. It's a shame, though, because so many songs have the potential to be huge hits if they were given the same push and promotion as traditional singles.

At some point, it seems like fans want more for Normani. Chloe, despite releasing bomb after bomb, she remains hungry and is everywhere, eager for success - posting performances and going live on Instagram to sing and perform.

I'm not babying her if what there saying is true allegedly RCA hasn't paid/criedit everyone that worked on the album there trying get everything done legally so that let's me to believe that she can't really perform her songs just yet because they gotta get all that paperwork done so even if she does promote on her social media, I don't think it will  accomplish that much of a difference Her main strength is her ability to captivate people visually and if she can't do that, it's like what's the point of keep posting on socials and making edits/content of my songs when I know my fans wanna see the visuals and performances but I can't get provide that yet but again thats allegedly happening
