Like why not just hit post a second time while you're already posting it You know Norman is a "Here y'all go don't ask me for nothing" type of person. I think she and her team are most likely aware of the odd patterns but don't want to go the extra step of downloading the video to another platform. Her team's approach is rather messy though. 1

NormaniQueen Posted July 13 Posted July 13 (edited) she seems to have healed pretty quick, so happy for her! Edited July 13 by NormaniQueen
justifymythreads Posted July 14 Posted July 14 Tantrums needs to be the fall single after CP does it's thing. To me it's such a great song and to me it fits the dark theme of the album better than all the other songs. I have to say Mani has good taste saying this is her fav from the album. A nice simple music video with a storyline similar to Unfaithful mixed with 4 page letter would be great.

She seriously should just start booking spot dates/stand alone shows- that's every artist bread and butter when they don't tour. It's pretty clear the album made nothing in comparison to what's been spent. Her strongest market seems to be L.A. and NYC. If she wants to tour in the future, and wants a sponsor, she's going to have to hit some kind of stage some time soon. At this point, someone needs to throw a brick at her & Lydia head, because there's nothing up there❗️ 1

At this point, someone needs to throw a brick at her & Lydia head, because there's nothing up there❗️ This is what they should've done the night she released her album, a pop up show. I don't blame RCA for not spending more money, she doesn't make much return and she doesn't fight to promote her album. Her era is a hot mess, we are soooooo bored. She kept saying the album was worth the wait, yes the songs are good and after ? We don't have any MV, she said years ago she is terrible at using socials and it still didn't change, she doesn't make any fun content, no performances and she states she is a visual artist, the album couldn't chart more than 1 week, 1:59 is flopping on the radio and didn't chart, Candy paint is a 2yo song that didn't chart neither and its video is on her phone. She literary has tunes in her album that can chart maybe not super high but still can saver the hot mess of her era and she drags it (Take my time), she keeps promising things to never give like the tour statement she made during the release party. She truly embodies « dopamine » making her fans crave for the simplest things to give things little by little and we never leave even tho we are tired her same bad antics. Whatever manager is the world can't save her career, she is the one that has to save it instead of siting and waiting for people to call her to perform because she think she is some kind of superstar that she isn't. She has to create her own opportunities. Can y'all imagine Normani, today, can't even chart… this is insane. Years ago she still has some of those same problems like being terrible with socials but at least she used to chart and perform and now she has none of that. She is clearly starting from scratch, now what she doesn't get is that your have to develop a strong fanbase which means you have to be close to it, she isn't at all even worse she makes empty promisies/ wait wayyy to long to give things and so on. 40_L3VE Posted July 15 Posted July 15 It's festival season and Normani is nowhere to be seen. She could have easily put together a 20-30 minute set of features, older songs and new ones. Her lack of visibility hurts her more than I think her team realizes. And even if Normani isn't good at social media... she doesn't need to be. Just get a social media manager who knows what they're doing. As for the financial aspect, Normani previewed Candy Paint a year ago (June 2023) in a Bose commercial. The clip has 9.8M views as of today. Any team worth their paycheck would have negotiated a deal for Bose to at least partly sponsor the CP video and would have had the video ready to go by release week. If the music doesn't generate money, you need to get out and sign brand deals to keep you afloat. The Coach deal is cute, but you know what would have been better? If it featured HER music in the commercial. Co-branding. But then again, she hasn't even posted the commercial on her socials. Weird choices all around.

popularmoonlight Posted July 15 Posted July 15 So many parts of All Yours could be used to make simple content on TikTok. She should also be doing those TikTok interviews. I hate it here!! 2

eXaggeration Posted July 15 Posted July 15 New realizations incoming... in 3, 2, 1... This music thing is just a hobby for the mononymous Normani. It's not that serious. She's not trying to leave her mark on the industry. She does this music thing to pass the time. Just be happy she officially releases some of it ...occasionally No big deal. Once y'all realize that, you'll appreciate the way she goes about things. She's not trying to be a part of this so-called "business". One of these mornings she may wake up and chose to hit upload on that Candy Paint video... Or maybe she'll just keep it on her phone to show friends. Mother knows best...right?
popularmoonlight Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Well I hope this mess with Tayla at least gives us some streams 1
AFullMoonlight Posted July 15 Posted July 15 (edited) Now can y'all direct y'all anger towards something else? I'll never be mad about someone making sure they get their credit, but we can agree that tweet was passive aggressive as hell. Why she felt the need to announce she hadn't even listened to the album yet? Edited July 15 by AFullMoonlight 4

shelven Posted July 16 Posted July 16 I get that she was (rightfully) upset that the credits got messed up and that people who are emotional don't always think rationally, but like... I really can't help but feel like she did that with a bit of malice There's no way someone who's been in the industry that long doesn't know that an artist of Normani's nature isn't the one who's directly controlling credits, and she must have known that the wording of her tweet would sound like she was blaming Normani personally. The reference to "the artist" in one of her follow-up tweets further confirmed the passive-aggressive intent of the whole thing. Get your 15 minutes of attention on Twitter I guess girl 7 1
