Does it need to be completed before though? i dont really think so. An artist can work on an album up to 3 weeks before release with physicals and vinyls available for purchase day of album release.

Solana was scrambling to get SOS finished like a week before the album release date - PF2 is not done and that's okay. As long as she meets the deadline, who gaf when the physicals/vinyl comes. If anything, physicals coming later will give the album a second wind.

For an iTunes pre-order, I’m pretty sure the number of tracks needs to be finalised - alongside the track length and the explicit/clean classification.
