Tell me why my friend waited at the Charlotte airport to see Lana arriving and Lana got off the jet shielded by umbrellas her security guards held and got into a black SUV and then left with a police escort going down west blvd. Just for the lolz I looked into the Smile vs Chromatica Spotify thread in here. 

I can't believe that Lana has seven albums outstreaming Chromatica (Chemtrails doing almost the same) and six that do more than Smile. Whoever did some voodoo for her streaming numbers back in the day, turned her into such a force on Spotify that she's outdoing folks like Gaga or Katy, who seemed unstoppable ten years ago, with ease.

I wonder what's next after this tour leg. Something tells me that she won't do another leg despite the rumours. I really hope that if she really releases that cover album that the new versions are more exciting than just Lana doing a bar singer vibe with minimal Changes like on Summertime

The same can be said for pure sales too. Catalog sales in Europe are mostly dead but she's an amazing catalog vinyl sellers in America. BTD did 125K pure sales in 2021, I believe in 2023 the number will be around 135K-150K.

 

BTD was certified 4x platinum for units 800K in Germany in 2019, I wonder how close is it to cross the million mark there?

 

She chose the wrong singles this time and it shows in the streaming numbers and the wrong tittle too.  I believe the era could've done a bit better if it was handled differently.

A&W and Tunnel were right choices. She should have followed up with Paris, Texas and LTLI. Tacky Necklace was a bad single choice. Probably her worst so far

Paris, Texas was my favorite song in the album but I am not sure if it is a good single choice.

 

For NFR, she should've released earlier The Greatest (instead of Venice *****) and release Cinnamon Girl later in September.

The Greatest has a long fade out. It's not that great as a single. Venice was rightfully a single. CG also goes on for a bit too long, but the numbers it is pulling a quite impressive

I feel like The Greatest is more GP-friendly, I assumed it would be one of the most streamed singles but according to Kworb it's not.

A televised performance from the Ocean Boulevard Tunnel (the title track + The Grants) from herself, while being dressed in the same dress she wore during the SNL - all while delivering vocals - would be the ultimate F***-you! to all critics and haters. Lana Del Rey has always been Lizzy Grant, after all.
