If I'd have to combine COCC and BB into one, my perfect tracklist would be:

CHEMTRAILS OVER BLUE BANISTERS (ALBUM)

Chemtrails Over The Country Club

Arcadia

Blue Banisters

If You Lie Down With Me

Violets for Roses

Black Bathing Suit

Wild At Heart

Dark But Just A Game

Dealer

Dance Till We Die

Wildflower Wildfire

White Dress

Why is her spotify bio so shady? mentioning SNL, mixed reviews for BTD, etc? :skull:

I WAS considering Beautiful, but then wanted to make it a short tracklist, so omitted it.

#8 Really??? I have to listen to it again then.

Update: yeah def not Not all Who Wander Are Lost. Feels uninspired like God Knows I Tried. Both sound great though.

I have been trying to get into Yosemite and never did. I had the same feeling with Kintsugi and Fingertips from Ocean Blvd but that changed rapidly. And for some reason Thunder really does nothing to me. Like, at all. I can appreciate Thunder's lyrics and the production but it literally doesn't touch me in my tralala ¯\(ツ)/¯

P.S. OK YOSEMITE KINDA SLAPS ATM. I MIGHT TAKE IT BACK

I like NAWWAL. It's so calming and comforting to me.

Yosemite is my top pick from Chemtrails. Simplicity at it's best and keeps you coming back. It's gorgeous, both lyrics and production.

But if you would put Yosemite against every other Lana album track? haha. What are your 5 least faves?

I would actually say it's in my top 10 Lana tracks!

From both albums combined?

Dealer - Just not into it's vibe and it sticks out like a sore thumb to me (even though others like it cause its most accessible)

Nectar of the Gods, Living Legend, Cherry Blossom - Others may disagree but this stretch just didn't do it for me. They're cute songs but I find myself tuning out here.

For Free - I like this one more than the others but it feels like a slightly underwhelming closer, even though I love Weyes.

Thank you! I didn’t realise BTD sold that much, impressive!

Blue Banisters didn’t flop as much as I thought. I genuinely thought it would be sub 500k

For me it would be this:

White Dress

Wildflower Wildfire

Wild at Heart

Not All Who Wander Are Lost

Dark But Just A Game

Text Book

Chemtrails Over the Country Club

Sweet Carolina

Tulsa Jesus Freak

Let Me Love You Like a Woman

Blue Banisters

If You Lie Down With Me

Thunder

Black Bathing Suit

Dealer

Arcadia

I tried to give the tracklist some kind of narrative but there are definitely some shoehorned tracks in there!

Dark But Just a Game

Wild at Heart

Dance Til We Die

Blue Banisters

Wildflower Wildfire

The demo sounds super polished to me, perhaps it was up for consideration in the later half of the recording process. All I know is, Pink Champagne 100% deserved to be on UV. At least as the final bonus track if nothing else. That's one of her best songs of all time.

all i know is that dragonslayer was made on earlier stages of the second studio albums development, the same time as angels forever demo, summertime cover, west coast radio mix aka early version (~april 2013), but indeed the version we got is very polished, almost ready to be released and i wonder what # of mix is that out of ~30known existing, but i imagine she droped that track early because its too medival, too tropico driven, unless it was reworked later
pink champagne is absolutely gorgeoys track and i have a theory it has earlier version from early 2013 and then it was reworked in october 2013 and was strongly considered for the album, but since we have no tracklists for OG UV its really hard to tell for sure

We really need a documentary made about UV, and all of her other albums for that matter. I would love a mini-series explaining the creative process behind each release!

I reckon Dragonslayer just didn’t fit with what the album came to be, it’s a lot less dark, and Pink Champagne was probably too personal.

It did make me love the LMLYLAW version though. I actually enjoy it now, where it used to make me throw fits of rage. Growth!

Honeymoon was sabotaged by poor singles choices. Don't get me wrong, I love HBTB (it's kinda like an antidepressant) but I would reconsider that as as single.

MTWBT was a dead giveaway bomb.

I hope she continues to serve a more heavily produced sound, as with “A&W”, “The Grants”, “Grandfather” and DYKTTATUOB.

I don’t want her to go back to the stripped back/ mostly demo type sounds from BB.

I'm curious what else can we expect during the campaign period...

If she's not ready to do some TV performances yet, dropping a music video for some of the more popular tracks from the album could help. Perhaps Let the Light In or Paris, Texas:bird:

I would even accept a music video for Margaret with the edited footage from the wedding - filmed and edited by Chucky, of course.  :swan:

Tunnel has more streams than Blue Banisters in Spotify. :alexz:

 Tunnel - 560M

 BB - 556M

 Chemtrails - 478M

It has probably outsold both of them in pure sales too given that it opened with higher numbers in Anglosphere.

At this point she will be in the top 25 by end of the year
