Ok yeah, let's slow down. I do remember making account on LB with this nickname when the site had some hype, but I never used it and I tried some passwords now and it's locked. I try to reset it with the email I remembered being assigned to it and it supposedly did, but I never received the email. Could someone ask Elle on my behalf to somehow force-reset my password/send me the email to reset it, I don't know where to contact her

the whole website is already tagging her and messaging her

we all want you there king:jonnycat:

I won't be residing there :dies: I just wanted to discuss that topic a bit, filling missing puzzle pieces of the past eras is super fascinating

There’s a “Forgot your password?” button on the sign in page that will send a password reset form to the account’s linked email, or he could contact me through the @LanaBoards Twitter/Instagram, or email [email protected] x

I don't tbh

Wow, I never thought any BTD outtakes were revisited after BTD's release, I wonder if some of the most finished songs like Kinda Outta Luck, You Can Be the Boss or French Restaurant were ever revisited for that potential 2012 release.

Thanks for all the info btw! The mistery around her career was the thing that actually got me into her, it's nice to have some sort of clarity lol

Rewatching old BTD festival sets and WHEW... that girl! National Anthem should have remained a guitar-driven bop (with the I Want It All chorus to boot )

Talk of Lana's unreleased/behind the scenes and I'm still waiting for producers and years on You & Me, My Best Days, Breaking My Heart, and Back to tha Basics 10 years later :jonny2:

@BlackoutZone if that possible, can u pls spill on how much Heroin aka my personal the best ever made song have been worked on? it seems to be sooo polished and having soooo many layers and i can only imagine how it progressed and definitely that must be one of those songs she was working on for months as u said to reach that deep and atmospheric sound with tiny lil details all over the song

Do you remember when she released this one back in the day and the fanbase was hoping for it to not make the cut of NFR! like Coachella did :gaycat6:? It's such a beautiful song. It didn't deserve the lashings it had

Makes sense since this was released between NFR! and Chemtrails sessions

this song was recorded the same week it was released. which was released on the same day that Season of the Witch was.

that also was the week-ish around the time i believe either FIILY or Doin Time was released as well (or at least the music video)

Haha I’ve never seen this clip til now. I love the self awareness :dies:

Honestly her “weird” styles of singing back then is what also drew me to her, like that fan says. She was committed and it was weird in a haunting, alluring way.

I think the first ever live performance of hers I saw online was when she sang BTD at that showcase, that took place at a hotel pool or something. Literally pulled me IN bc A) the song melodically was beautiful and B) she sang it with like 3 diff tones or “personalities”

Listened to the “lost” albums today (AKA and Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass) and I have to say they are both masterpieces :monkey: I know Violet is a bit different to listen to bc you can’t do it passively like with her music, you have to actively register and think about the words, but it’s very calming and lovely to hear her talk, and I have to give props to Jack, he actually did the damn thing on the instrumentation. And then with AKA, we already know that is a classic. I feel bad for the (few) stans who still don’t listen to/ acknowledge or have never heard AKA :cupid: I remember when I finally decided to give it a listen and I was honestly shocked by how good it was and the fact that I had been ignoring it for years :psyduck:
