ATRL Moderator khalyan Posted October 30 ATRL Moderator Posted October 30 I really liked the video but I think the 911 video is better

Puttanesca Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Sauuurrr, was there a reason she didn't release the video until today?
Aston Martin Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Also there's nothing more horrifying than American suburban sprawl (and I say that as someone living in this shithole country) so I think she really got the setting right for Disease 3

It's not in the same category as her first batch of great videos that were flashy, fancy cand with high budget. This is like 911, still great but lacks a bit in the "huge video" department. Oh for sure I'd say 911 is polished! I guess I meant moreso from like a production/cinematography direction standpoint -- which I feel like Alejandro was the last time it didn't feel DIY. Like here, the outfits, cinematography, literally everything felt elevated and polished But this is a lot of what I do with my day job, so I'm also a little more critical when it comes to things like that Edited October 30 by Bhabylon 2

I really wish we would have gotten a full choreography moment, it would have elevated the video from really good to absolutely fantastic 3

JapaneseMommy Posted October 30 Posted October 30 I'm guessing she has her tattoos covered because of the body doubles

They said that disease is 3:48 long but it's actually 3:49. The consistency of being short by a second is there, but in a reverse warholian type of way Edited October 30 by FailSafe

I will ABSOLUTELY be streaming that from my won pleasure. When it feeds back into Gaga and boosts Disease streams even more Oh Atlantic (+ Interscope ig) you dont playyyy Is the live version on streaming? Im seeing the deluxe single with the instrumental and MV, but not the live version. I'm using Apple Music.
Artur Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Did anyone else noticed the lines in her body joints during the "basement scene"? I wonder what they are supposed to mean. There is so much imaginary hidden in the video. The more I watch it, the more I like it. 4
IBeMe Posted October 30 Posted October 30 it's a solid mv! not as amazing as some of u are claiming but deff a HUGE improvement from her more recent mvs tbh! the quality upgrade is MAJORLY noticeable! also i find myself always enjoying her mvs with less choreo tbh. it gives way for more creativity 1

JapaneseMommy Posted October 30 Posted October 30 (edited) The thing is, i'm glad it's not shot at night in the dark - to represent that the DARKNESS is her and it could be there at anytime of the day, her demons are fighting all day long. selfieclownt Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Re: low budget Even though she is working largely with a new team this time around I think she has taken a lot of her collaborations with Inez & Vinoodh Lobster Eye with her Basically they helped her trim the excess fat and focus on impacting with simpler imagery and a clearer message thats why the applause video is just the length of the song and perfect illusion is similarly trim with a simple concept and single location 1
