I think this MV/possibly entire era is a continuation of the themes of the Chromatica Ball, coming to grips with the fact that she spent a decade playing it safe and running away from herself in an attempt to heal herself, not realizing it was only making her more and more sick each time. She runs away from the darkness but ultimately the darkness is what literally gives her life, she can't escape it. The Gaga in the trench coat is the real her. She's picking up where she left us off in 2013 but in the most profound way imagineable, this goes so much deeper than just cosplaying as her old self. I love this so much I shared this with the Gaga discord, sis It makes so much sense when you put it like this. We're digging it UP 1
Plasticdoll Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Not the nit pickers coming out to try and disect every detail of the video of why it should be better.. Yawn..

Gagamon Posted October 30 Posted October 30 This was insanely good. Love the black hair on her. The concept is really cool too A shame they used the night with the fugly wig for the dwas performance lmao. Sounds good tho 2
Namiskine Posted October 30 Posted October 30 I was expecting a LOT from it and I still got SLAYED Anyone saying this should have been shot during nighttime definitely deserves to be chained on the floor, listening to 143 on repeat while Gaga walks on them 1 5

It's "one of her best videos" vs. "it's so bad" I've you haven't noticed, anyone outside of base think creativity and pushing yourself hinders chart performance and if a song doesn't perform well what's the point. Their perception of music is entirely ******. 1
CristalConners Posted October 30 Posted October 30 (edited) This is so GAGA. Some looks reminds me of ARTPOP aesthetics. Love the cinematography. Edited October 30 by CristalConners

GGD Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Gaga's video being Divisive? This feels like 2010 all over again.
Dumbledore Posted October 30 Posted October 30 They are all driving mustangs right? And we got that snippet in the middle... Maybe there are more references to the tracklist on the video that we haven't noticed 2
Aston Martin Posted October 30 Posted October 30 The way she can do insanity is one of the reasons I love her so much. She just has it 5
Colmillo Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Gar didn't lie when she said this is some of her best music in a while, the snippet sounds amazing, all of the snippets and Disease sound amazing 1
Album Leak Posted October 30 Posted October 30 (edited) I think the daylight is supposed to represent that we do not merely struggle with our demons in the dark of night, but the demons are a constant presence that don't just disappear when the sun comes up and we live our plain, normal everyday lives in the most wholesome, regular environment. I think the moving cars at the beginning of the video also signify that people around you also just.. live their lives not knowing about your struggles no matter how apparent they might be. But that's just my amateur read on the MV Edited October 30 by Album Leak 9 2
