It's nice, there are some great ideas, but it's far from her best ! The new snippet sounds very good too! The DWAS is really great, they sound and look incredible. Gaga reminds of Silvana Mangano in the 60s you like the raggedy wig video but not the SLAY that is disease?
Popular Post GGD Posted October 30 Popular Post Posted October 30 (edited) The Duality of her looking like Dolly Parton and Nemesis from Resident Evil on the same day is something only she can pull off. The Video is ghoulish and multi-layered, and it is one of the top of her video discography! Her best Lead Music Video since BR. I don't quite care if there's choreography or not. Gaga is about Visuals and Concepts. She delivered it spectacularly and also gave us more hints about LG7. Edited October 30 by GGD 15 2
Anthinos Posted October 30 Posted October 30 I like the video after watching it a second time. She looks so good and I wonder what the album title and cover are going to be! 1
Rama Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Gaga removing Parris' work from the music video as a trauma response to being cut from JFAD by Toad 2 1
TedLasso Posted October 30 Posted October 30 So is that the next single? Kinda wild how many snippets we have now
Burqa Posted October 30 Posted October 30 i love the video but it's nowhere near tfm/btw levels. here's my complaints - it should've been shot entirely at night. the sunny suburbia aesthetic doesn't fit imo - each chorus needed a new setting to make it more dynamic - the one with the mask shouldn't have taken it off until the other one is on her knees. ruins the surprise 5 5

Also disappointed there's no choreography. What was with all of the rumors about a new choreographer, etc??? Ok I take it back, I'm starting to like it the more I watch it. 1
PerfectCure Posted October 30 Posted October 30 If you pay attention to the MV snippet also, the "I could be your light/guide" part seems to be sung by a choir. It's the exact type of vocal effect used in the leaked snippet, but during this part: "DJ, hit the lights" 1

Velvet Posted October 30 Posted October 30 it being at night would completely take away from the imagery 9 5
TYMPS Posted October 30 Posted October 30 extremely low budget very interested in the song that lady is listening to in the car tho 10

selfieclownt Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Her idea of a hellscape where her inner demons face off being a suburban neighborhood is a ki
Anthinos Posted October 30 Posted October 30 I wasn't a big fan of Girlfriend but the new snippet sounds exciting!

I would've guessed they'd give a lot more budget to VFX, some of it felt cheap. The editing is messy too. Still a great music video! The entire demon look with the bloody eye was fantastic and the make up on the flower dress look was amazing too. I think the "cheapness" is kind of homage to 80/90s horror films 2

Doctor Dick Posted October 30 Posted October 30 The drastic difference between the opinions in this thread and the non-base thread about the video. It's "one of her best videos" vs. "it's so bad"
