She released an unreleased song, which is very rare for her. 1

She's a billionaire, for ****'s sake Let's be real: with the planned release date for the album being in four to five months, it's safe to say that LG7 is nowhere near finished. If anything, Interscope was the one requesting the release date to pushed out, so the can force Gaga back to the drawing board/studio if the lead doesn't take off. 2

Kinda glad she didn't gave it a longer run. 1

If anything, Interscope was the one requesting the release date to pushed out, so the can force Gaga back to the drawing board/studio if the lead doesn't take off. That can't be the case—Gaga herself confirmed that while in Paris, she delegated the mixing and mastering of LG7 to others, meaning the album is fully done. Plus, Andrew has moved on to other projects. If what you're suggesting were true, she would've needed more than five months since, in theory, they didn't anticipate JFAD bombing as badly as it did. She would have been busy with the awards campaign. Now she's free, but they set the release date before realizing what a mess FAD would turn out to be.

The movie bombing had nothing to do with Interscope. She decided to do harlequin, and Interscope gave her resources for it, physical promos everything, I think they did more than enough for it. Their only fault is allowing her to release harlequin, but I don't think they had the power to kill that project even if they want. 1
Badgalbriel Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Why are we blaming Interscope now? Damn, the topic here changes fast! I've only been out for one hour

Badgalbriel Posted October 29 Posted October 29 The conspiracy theory that Interscope is pushing this album to February to give Gaga enough time to rework it makes no sense. If anything, Gaga would be trying to prove that the album she made would work and would be all out trying to make Deceased happen 1
