brooks Posted October 26 Posted October 26 the debut is good for someone 16 years into the game. that's why the OGH are making so much noise. she still has power and the material is shaping up to be one of her best works. the aim this time is not charts and god knows we didn't needed another bland pop dance like stupid love. 8

I think we all know what went wrong in October. 1
Namiskine Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Great numbers for Disease's debut! Unfortunate that it doesn't translate in terms of positions, but whatever. Happy to see it also benefited DWAS! So close to a new global peak on day 71, do you girlies understand how crazy that is?! Brazil stanning HARD as hell, parabéns monstrinhos Spoiler Btw DWAS doing 975.886 streams is a new peak, right? @Artur I'm not even gonna open that streaming thread because I know for sure it's full of OGHs circle-jerk*ng over an "underwhelming" debut when their own reasoning was saying DWAS had a shaky start for "a collab between two huge artists". Now that Gaga is doing the same numbers with a solo song, of course their narratives will shift, like it always does whenever they lose. Doing on par with artists such as Beyoncé and The Weeknd is far from being bad, and don't let anyone make you think it is. 9 4

We spend entire past 4 years trashing stupid love, calling it flop, terrible and everything yet this one did worse than that with 4 years of streaming growth. babyforlife Posted October 26 Posted October 26 as long as it still get above 1.5M-2M daily streams until February (LG7 release week), I'd consider it as a success, but I'm pretty sure her label will try to push this song in the following weeks..

Like…. What is the "strategy?" Kill all the hype? 1
Colmillo Posted October 26 Posted October 26 I'm starting to think that Gar and Michael are not together anymore and that's why she doesn't want to talk about the single, since he worked on it with her 1 3

alansambista Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Will they boost Disease on Halloween Party playlists? Maybe that's one of the strategies.
Nando_05 Posted October 26 Posted October 26 I hope nothing bad happened between her and Michael (the reason she made LG7)

She had to endure weeks of brutal headlines about the movie bombing and disastrous reviews from critics and fans, all with her face plastered on it from the red carpets. 1
