This is her sound and plays to her strengths, and I think that's why I like it so much. She's returning to familiar territory, but she's bringing along all the talent she's honed + new and amazing producers and it just delivers so hard. Anyone else get that vibe too Interesting that you mention this. I think every Gaga lead can be read as symbolizing aspects of her relationship with her audience. Just Dance, Born This Way and Applause for obvious reasons. But even Bad Romance (craving frame but being aware of it's destructiveness), Perfect Illusion (post-ARTPOP realization of how fickle the adoration can be) and Stupid Love (despite all those lessons still craving to make the public smile - stupid as it may be). Disease could very well be interpreted as being directed towards her audience as she is a sort of provider for escapism.

Colmillo Posted October 25 Posted October 25 I'm gonna be completely honest, as much as I think Disease is an amazing song and her best lead since BR, I'm not a fan of the promotional pictures for the single they feel kinda amateur-ish imo, I feel like the ideas are good but the final results aren't great, the only one I do love is the rainbow one, the one that she has as a pfp everywhere.
