She's Lady Gaga. One of the most successful, acclaimed and popular musicians ever. She's had Shallow, Always Remember Us This Way, Rain On Me and now Die With A Smile as recent hits. She also sold out stadiums across the world with the Chromatica Ball. She means a lot to a lot of people and thus has a huge dedicated fanbase. She's in a similar spot to Beyoncé - a legend that doesn't need more commercial success or money and she's doing this because it's her profession and she enjoys it (and people love her music). I think the single will do well and resonate with a lot of people because it's so great but if it doesn't quite hit #1 etc. that's okay she's still a legend I think Madonna and Taylor still aim for hits in a way that Beyoncé and Gaga don't care for anymore and that's okay as their art is still great and I think it should be celebrated and enjoyed first and foremost. 4
