Mikeymoonshine Posted October 24 Posted October 24 You're all melting down already? It can't be worse than Stupid Love.
selfieclownt Posted October 24 Posted October 24 Mostly excited about this being a sex bop Spoiler Even though the heal me lyrics are superior
FameFatale Posted October 24 Posted October 24 It's wild how vague and quiet she's been over the release. 1

She's been notorious being for choosing the wrong leads since 2016. PI was chosen but Million Reasons was the hit, I'll Never Love Again was chosen but Shallow was the hit, Stupid Love was chosen but Rain On Me was the hit. I get why some people are nervous as there had been numerous eras where she missed it with the lead. Heck, even Harlequin had more potential in The Joker and yet they went with Happy Mistakes for streaming (I know none of them were singles but it sort of applies as well). But they're releasing the album in Feburary which could mean two things: A) They think they've got a strong lead that'll continue to smash well into next year or B) They're unsure of the lead so they spaced it out just in case they need to release another single before February. Jack! Posted October 24 Posted October 24 (edited) I don't think the tour will be in or even bleed into 2026. It'll probably start in quick succession after the album is out, similar to how Sabrina did it. And if that article is really true and it's not gonna happen until 2026 because they fumbled the bag by not securing stadium dates in enough time then what a mess. Edited October 24 by Jack! 1
slobro Posted October 24 Posted October 24 Whoever manages her catalog need to do better. They misspelled Scheiße as ScheiBe, it looks ridiculous 1

It's been a tough year for me, and I know it's been challenging for many of you too, but having this community as an escape has really helped me get through a lot. I truly appreciate each and every one of you—your posts, your countdowns, your memes, and yes, even your downvotes. Here's to a great LG7 era! Enough with the sappy stuff now. hi i'm out of upvotes for the day (which is lame, tbh I deserve to have more lol) but count this response as an upvote cause i'm 100% in the same boat as you this year has been f*cking insane for me but has been looking kind of up ever since I got a job in july and it's kinda saved my mental health ever since in a way lol but enough about that, it's been full of ups and downs cause i've been so stressed out and I feel like I've grown a lot this year, okay enough about my crazy ass life, anyway yeah this new era of Gaga commencing is easily one of the ups, one of the higher points for me too, especially experiencing it with y'all on this forum I was a lurker on ATRL from 2012-2019 (when I was FINALLY able to mothaf*cking it's true make an account lol) and I always looked forward to reading reactions/theories/interpretations/ideas/sh*tposts/general commentary whenever a new era was commencing for a fav of mine! from Kesha to Marina to Rihanna to Bey to Taylor to Gaga… there's truly no place like ATRL to experience it in real time with likeminded, open-minded people (who are often also queer like me) from around the world. just yeah, seconded to everything you said, love y'all 1

Doctor Dick Posted October 24 Posted October 24 Anyone thinks she'll take advantage of the new option on Spotify for watching music videos? It could be nice considering it would also count as a stream for the song. 1
Hot Volcano Posted October 24 Posted October 24 Tour in 2026? **** yes! I'll have enough time to save up money for multiple dates

She was blonde earlier in the month so maybe the music video was indeed filmed two weeks ago. It kinda looks painted on honestly, some of her hair still looks blonde through the paint.

Tbf there's a logic to not leading with your best because the first single will get the most week 1 hype. SL is not to my taste but it went top 5 and platinum in multiple countries meaning she got two hits off the album instead of 1. ROM was a much safer bet for the second single and really SC should have been the third but idk what happened there. In the streaming era singles help albums a lot more than they used to. Ariana did the same thing with her last album leading with Yes And rather than We Can't Be Friends which was always gonna be the biggest song off that album. I do think Gaga should have just lead with MR for Joanne though, nothing else on that album had hit potential at all.

What I don't get is why they didn't push ARUTW and INLA after Shallow. If they were gonna push inla first then it wasn't because of Bradley. They could have had three hits off that album stjll did really but they could have been bigger. ARUTW could have been as big as Shallow.

Yeah I get that but then when you think of the INLA/Shallow situation it kinda implies Interflop does NOT know what they're doing in terms of leads lol. I hope I'm wrong and it's mostly based on what you say or they have multiple strong singles and will release them pre-album. 2
