I'm convinced that 90% of the reason Gar made Harlequin was so that people didn't think the JFAD recordings were her singing those songs in her own voice :suburban:

Yeah - I imagine the other 10% is her being unfulfilled with the role Todd gave her in the movie, and she prob wanted to do more with the character.

 

In another timeline Todd made a great Joker 2 and Harelquin the album wouldn't exist.

I am now thankful that I decided to not order the vinyl for jFAD. Instead I order Harlequin thank God. The vinyl for Jfad was not even distrubuted by Interscope right?

Yeah that's my case since I can't listen to anything on the soundtrack... I need smooth vocals. Wonder if the GP care much about Harlequin to listen to it tho :cries: in fact, I've read comments where people said Gaga can't sing well in the movie. I mean how dumb can people be?

it's through one of WB's labels (watertower) and Interscope.

Not sure how much royalties Gaga would get from that soundtracks. I think she would get more from Harlequin vinyl.
