killer_rose Posted September 29 Posted September 29 I love Good Morning, such a cute and camp album opener. Little pots and pans Liddos can choke. 2

helpthomas Posted September 29 Posted September 29 idk why we are even discussing Harlequin and charts. i'm pretty sure no one in gagas team intended this project to be "successful" according to those metrics, as it seems like a vanity project, and is de facto a companion album to the movie she's promoting right now. DWAS was probably thought to be somewhat similar and more of a treat but it blew up because of its GP friendly qualities. if they are planning on promoting her musically they've most defintely put the entire budget into her actual comeback single coming in mere weeks 3
HeavyMetalAura Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Now that the Stupid Love/Perfect Illusion discourse is back to haunt us, I'm gonna say it again - I need the LG7 to be great. I'm not a chartster so idgaf if it flops or not, but it simply must be a slay like Just Dance/Bad Romance/Born This Way/Applause. I can't deal with another bad lead single. I can't do it. Not a third time in a row. Don't do it to me Gaga. 2 5 1
tost1 Posted September 29 Posted September 29 People shipping back their FAD tickets after hearing Good Morning... Can't say I'm surprised. 7

If she comes with Abracadabra...we are even more blessed
AlGreRithm Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Quote [Happy Mistakes] is no "Shallow," but lyrics that find symmetry between the Harley Quinn and Lady Gaga personas — "A lonely disposition / Portraits of a strung-out girl / How'd I get so addicted / To the love of the whole world?" — provide one of the album's most compelling moments. Lady Gaga's latest lingers on pop's past. But what about its future? - The Washington Post Quote After "Harlequin," the world is ready for her to wipe off the greasepaint, put on a meat dress and be a pop star again. Yes we are ready!! 2

frankvert Posted September 29 Posted September 29 (edited) Haven't logged into this cult site in over a week and it's been so nice to experience Harlequin without any of the echo chamber complaints that go on around here, from both OGHs and alleged Liddos themselves. It's an excellent body of work, a testament to Gaga's uninhibited artistry, and truly proves that she's the greatest living entertainer today. Her vocals have NEVER sounded better and the production quality is TOP NOTCH, literally in different areas. I love it and can't wait to play my (LG website exclusive) vinyl.
