GipJo Posted September 28 Posted September 28 A little positive news about Harlequin: AM US POP: #75(+3) Happy Mistake At least it's rising after first day, so it means more people are checking it out. 9

Enough with the Grandma Jazz Cover songs from 100years ago 2
Bamboo Posted September 28 Posted September 28 I actually really enjoy supporting her jazz albums and side projects. I really enjoy Harlequin and will probably use a good chunk of it. But I also feel okay to complain a bit because her ratio of jazz albums to original albums in the last decade has been 3 jazz albums to 2 originals (I'll give her credit for ASIB and say 3) 3

Venom is huge and will most likely eclipse it 1
IBeMe Posted September 28 Posted September 28 I love this side snack project personally but I can't help but wonder what it would have been like if she made it half covers and half originals i feel like it would have slayed and the concept would have been so cool and well executed as being a Harlee album 1 2

Almodusa Posted September 28 Posted September 28 So I looked up the Harelquin personnel and the brass guys who posted that studio pic with Gaga in Feb (with the Prince pic in the background) who later had to delete it aren't listed, which I guess means it was indeed for LG7 and not this project. 2
sunbathinganimal Posted September 28 Posted September 28 the numbers are actually fine for what the album is, I've added three songs to my library and am ready to move on from the Joker era 2

ViviLittleM Posted September 28 Posted September 28 nnnnnnnnnnn 50' inside interview was so useless, even Gaga was bored, the questions were sooooo boring 1

She's had years. I'm sure she's been working on music for a while. There's no way she couldn't have mustered 4 other original songs tbh come on now GipJoanne but I'm dead at the idea of her being like "girl I can't give y'all four other originals cuz I gotta work on the dark bowps for the gays otherwise they'll crucify me" 1
sunbathinganimal Posted September 28 Posted September 28 and yes this would have been an EASY 80+ on metacritic if it was The Joker, FAD, Happy Mistake and a few originals 1

Colmillo Posted September 28 Posted September 28 13, 20 or 27 days until the lead single, are you guys ready?
sunbathinganimal Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Just now, GipJo said: not before watching the movie and listening the soundtrack have plans to see it 3 times I'm doing my part and about the soundtrack 2
Velvet Posted September 28 Posted September 28 I don't mind the lashings from OGHs DWAS will continue to smash so it doesn't really matter. It'll be another legacy defining hit for her and the lead is coming so soon so they better enjoy the two week of lashings before notorious being out smashes dwas #ThankYouPopGa 2

Yeah I've noticed happy mistake is still climbing really slowly on AM. I think if might not do horrid on streaming but we'll see
PlERRE Posted September 28 Posted September 28 (edited) 7M for a side project of covers and some new songs. DWAS getting new peaks. LG6.5's debut bigger that 143 Gaga happy, in love and healthy. No Sarah Tanno. Frederic blocking me from Instagram. 30 pages without a ranking or a countdown. All I see is winning. Edited September 28 by PlERRE 8 1
Escape Posted September 28 Posted September 28 I deleted Harlequin from my library. Bring on LG7! 2 1 2
Colmillo Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Personally I think Gar will let JFAD breathe a little bit before releasing the lead, so my guess is the 25th
TedLasso Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Its whatever on a pop forum to label everything and anything with a trumpet jazz, but please don't embarrass y'all selves when you actually meet a jazz fan / musician. There's a reason Gaga calls this a Vintage Pop album. 2 1
