Aden Posted September 28 Posted September 28 As much as I love Harlequin, I hope this is the last covers project she does in a long time (if not ever). Having three albums of covers is enough. I don't hope it's her last jazz album, though. I think with enough effort, she would put out a brilliant original jazz album. 1
Velvet Posted September 28 Posted September 28 The way I've had MULTIPLE friends tell me about how excited they were about the album but just haven't and won't listen to it because they learned it was jazz 4

Denim Posted September 28 Posted September 28 I hope to be wrong… but I do feel like the writing is on the wall and the chance of a rebound for joker 2 is getting smaller as every review comes in… the more and more people see it the more I'm getting worried, as the reception is sticking negative im still excited to see it (mostly just love seeing Gaga in the big screen) but as someone who was reeeeeal hype when it first got announced, I've sorta braced myself that it is in fact mid now that both critics and fans are panning it 2 1
TedLasso Posted September 28 Posted September 28 People keep calling this album jazz just like they call Joanne country, open the schools 3
vince_martin88 Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Are we ready for Harlequin to perform worse than The Gift on all metrics? 1

Is the hate for a certain genre truly so palpable that you won't even give it one listen, especially if you were previously excited? Damn. 1
Denim Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Yeah, I agree, if she does do another jazz/trad pop album, I'd definitely prefer to see her do originals. Could be interesting.

Too bad she will continue to do so because she has too much talents and isn't afraid of it flopping because she always has other things to fall back on. If it's any other pop stars no label would allow them, because one passionate project bomb they would get bombarded by label to do what they ask artists to do. The struggle of stanning a really talented artist, if I want a boring artist I could've stanned any other IT girl atm. 3
Edu Posted September 28 Posted September 28 from what i have gathered the movie is basically about the aftermath of what happened in the first one if that's true it sucks cuz they could've done so much more with the story

This is so unserious

TeemoR Posted September 28 Posted September 28 I just need her to release a 90+ Metacritic score this year. I need a BRAT level album from her, she has the talent.

vince_martin88 Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Streamed Chromatica in full today. And she really did that 2
