Abracadabra Posted September 27 Posted September 27 The way I wish I could cancel my grass touching this weekend so I could replay Holyquin all day 2 5
hellobitchezzz Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Save your worrying and stream spiraling for the LG7 lead in a few weeks. This is a fun passion project of covers, enjoy it or go stream DWAS.
Aden Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Chappell canceling yet another big gig a day before because she's "not feeling it". Maybe Gar should scrap that rumored collab. It's not like Chappel would make any live promo spots anyways. 5
Denim Posted September 27 Posted September 27 I think a 72-77 would be more fitting than a 65... but I do agree with the critic's reviews that they wanted more "harley madness" because the moments we hear that are fantastic. I think there are some genuine 10s on this album, and some 9's, but there are a couple of "mid moments" sprinkled in, plus its mostly covers, so I didn't expect a super high score, but I do think 65 is a bit low. should have a 7 in front of it 2
Badgalbriel Posted September 27 Posted September 27 I couldn't even get past Good Morning on a second listen. That's how much I hate that song. 1 4

Denim Posted September 27 Posted September 27 no one- fans or haters, should expect big numbers from this project. If there somehow is than it would be because of some lightning in a bottle viral tiktok moment or something. This is not meant to be commercial in the slightest, as others have said- save the worrying for LG7 lead. If that does terrible than I understand being dissapointed (if you follow/care for charts) but no one should feel that way about this project 3

Zerocoke Posted September 27 Posted September 27 I don't think anyone expects this to do huge numbers, but a good debut would've at least showed that there's some interest for new gaga, particularly since most people weren't expecting this to be another jazz album full of covers (and I think she should've been more explicit about this while promoting it on social media) which means they were expecting pop gaga or DWAS/ASIB gaga. Although I can imagine most people completely giving up on the album after 1 minute of Good Morning 1
