No. The real impact happened with the Oscars performance and thats when the song took off. Grammys voting ended in December 2018.

No. TIA would've still won no matter the scenario because of politics and activism.

It is what it is.

asdf she was so gagged, as if Shallow wasn't literally 1000x better than any of the other songs in that category:dies:

I remember being surprised she was so emotional. I feel like that might have a lot to do with being told her career was over after ARTPOP. :frown:

I watched the Ed Sheeran pop vocal album win after that (thinking it was the one that infuriated stan Twitter where all the women were in attendance except Ed) but it's the one from a pre-telecast show, and lmao @ the band playing the opening notes of Perfect Illusion as if it had won. I never knew this happened.:skull:

I don't think poptism has ended either just because music hacks have finally stopped to kiss certain artists ass and their mediocre output, in any case it won't change anything for Gaga since she has never benefited from it, if anything 'Chromatica' deserved to be in the 80s and it would have been if it wasn't for the usual turdy Slant Magazine (can some hacker put an end to that turd media outlet once for all).

This is why I wouldn't want LG7 and JFAD to happen at the same time, because in that case we won't get 2 different distinguishable 'fashion eras'. But beggars can't be choosers atp :suburban:

they used to give her good scores all the way up to ARTPOP but switched like f-words afterwards. I think they didn't get the memo that it's cool to like Gaga again s:wan:
