Her second show in the city. She accidentally called us Boston in the opening. Then in her opening speech apologized and said its like us coming to see her and calling her Lady Gaga but then she said she loves Lady Gaga. Lmaoooo this is actually hilarious I know she's kind of got a rep of being mean to her audiences, but this is a funny save. Like she messed up twice, but she had the right spirit Edited January 13 by TheLastChord

opbranden Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Joanne isn’t a bad album but it’s definitely her worst. I’m still haunted by the wasted potential of “Hey Girl” . LG7 will be her best album yet tho
Aden Posted January 13 Posted January 13 The first half of Joanne alone is better than all of Artpop, wdym her worst album? 2 1 1
WildAmerican Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Logging on to atrl.net the see the same dry, boring, nothing-new been there discussion about Joanne or whatever 7
TMRA Posted January 13 Posted January 13 (edited) Joanne and Chromatica are her two worst albums. Joanne is OKAY, it has Perfect Illusion, John Wayne, Diamond Heart but she ruined everything for me with Million Reasons that song sounds like a Pink song and the music video im not even gonna comment but it served its purpose. Chromatica on the other hand, that was a COOL CONCEPT AF. Planet Chromatica, visuals, those tribes from SL video, all of that had some amazing potential and I am so sad pandemic happened. Music wise it didnt really satisfy me, I wish she took more risks and we see a glimpse of "old creative Gaga" with Alice, Replay, 911, Interludes, Free Woman demo, Babylon etc but Bloodpop ruined most of the songs with his outdated production and 2012 basic edm beats. Bloodpop stay away from her please!! Quote Quote Edited January 13 by TMRA 1 7
hypocrateen Posted January 13 Posted January 13 would GAG over something like this for the album photoshoot 8
LewisK Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Joanne album is boring as hell. Not because of the music genre, it was just a snoozefest with some cool interesting concepts here and there (JW, SP, PI, AD) but no replay value in general. And the era.......... Well, I don't even want to recall it. At least, it did wonders for her mental health, which I'm really happy of. 14 minutes ago, TMRA said: Chromatica on the other hand, that was a COOL CONCEPT AF. Bloodpop stay away from her please!! I 100% agree. I still love Chromatica and give it a lot of praise, but it could've been top tier. Still, I'd rather get 1 Chromatica than 10000 Joannes, but watch her release another boring album by the look of the studio pictures and go insane with the promo, just as she did with Joanne while she paid all the dust and more to Chromatica (the pandemic thing is the most annoying excuse she has ever told, just look at Dua, The Weekend and EVERYBODY that dealt with the same climate )
SweetOreosOfHeaven Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Million Reasons is the best song on Joanne and one of her best ballads, please. It's a classic. 9

Pop Art Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Joanne, while not a bad album per se, is indeed her worst studio album by far. It was on release day and remains so to this day. 5 2

It's one of Gaga's premier singles at this point, whether we want to admit it or not. By the time it hits 1B, it very well may have dropped out or be close to dropping out of her Top 10 most streamed tracks on the platform. It's success definitely deserves more commendation than it normally gets, but at the same time, those high streaming numbers are largely due to when it was released (that being during the streaming era) rather than being a definitive signifier of its status among her biggest hits. That's why it went from one of her most streamed singles in 2016/2017 (don't remember it's rank though, but I want to say it was #2 or #3) to now being edged close to out of the Top 10 over the next few years. (The exact same thing happened to Rain On Me, which was her second most streamed track in 2020/2021 and will be down to #6 in a few months.) I'd say it's solidly in her Top 15 if anything, but a "premier single" I would not call it personally. 1
Popular Post Filthy Pop Posted January 13 Popular Post Posted January 13 The PI visuals were actually a serve and we don't talk about it enough like Stupid Love has been found DEAD in a DITCH 6 9
MadMax12 Posted January 13 Posted January 13 9 hours ago, RideOrDie said: you mean the best song on the album picked as the lead which was the only good thing to come out of the Hoanne era except the John Wayne video I know monsters will always defend PI. But for the GP, it was the worst choice. The lead should have been Dancin in Circles with a cowboy themed music video to represent the era

It charted for months and months on many European and South American Spotify charts. But if you said ‘million reasons’ the first word associated would be ‘local’ That’s not on OGGs…her own ‘stans’ have to be dealt with! 2

From a commercial perspective I get this argument but from a career narrative perspective, MR was a vital turning point for Gaga's relationship with the public and could be considered "premier" in that regard. The Superbowl performance shooting the song up to #4 was a sign that the public was clicking with Gaga's talents again after years of post-ARTPOP image cleansing. It was MR that pulled in that expanded audience that made ASIB a colossal smash, her Vegas residencies hits, and her first stadium tour a success. And it's shown incredible longevity pulling a healthy 300k+ daily streams 7 years after release. It's safe to call Million Reasons a Gaga classic. Coincidentially, I heard MR while buying a bagel this morning. Weddings, funerals, graduations, talent shows, bagel shops. 10
Vroom Vroom Posted January 13 Posted January 13 ARTPOP is objectively her worst album. That early 2010s EDM sound is already starting to age poorly. I have a lot of nostalgia for this album, but it is definitely her worse Joanne has some timeless ballads to put it over AP 1
