I have a feeling 2024 will be Gaga's year. Hopefully there will be a new album plus with Joker: Folie A Deux she'll show her acting skills. The only thing i'm doubtful about is that she might not release new music since the movie is a musical.

I genuinely refuse to believe that she's willing to stay this lowkey throughout the entire year with just JFAD on the horizon for the next. She has something else up her sleeves too and is just quietly waiting in the wings for when the time is right, not spilling the beans about what it really is in a way that she has in the past. Now, whether that "something" is LG7 or a music project entirely separate from the JFAD OST is anybody's guess.

 

I mean, why else would she say in that lengthy ass post that "I've been experiencing my creativity in a really special and private way since last summer" and then hint at writing and producing music for that unrevealed to date "special project"? 

 

I don't remember which past interview it was but when asked about her what her next career moves look like she said something along the lines of "I like to keep my cards close to my chest". This definitely feels like her creative approach lately, at least the last few years. Coupled with the fact that at the end of the tour wrap up VMag interview she said "...just welcoming a rebirth into a new chapter of my life, where I can be the artist that I always wanted to be. I can finally stop running away from myself and start running towards myself."; there's just such an air of assuredness, peace and a newfound sense of self-confidence to it. I really love that quote. 

 

TLDR; All this to say, call me optimistic, delusional or both but I'm still in the #LG72024 camp. Like, that's just my hunch.

My theory:

 

it will be continuation of Chromatica - remember AM interview 'i sill dont feel finsihed making it' she will re-issue Chrome with a new act (Chromatica 4) and there will be a new collab in the act = maybe bad bunny (why would Taylor announce ice spice on SNL but Gaga announce BB for no reason- Clearly a hint)

to promote she'll do LATAM tour, and bad bunny will be the extra fuel they need to get ticket sold this time round (that's why bobby was at all those concerts)

JFAD2 will be 'Hac'd', she needs a  pop offering. Chrome already has a solid start, and its a brand she can continue to exploit  capitalise on the base with - and dont forget the tour movie

If LG7 came out in 2024, this would have to be the schedule 

 

Regardless, things will get less dry around here in April when the JFAD trailer comes out.

let me remind the girls that Gaga was willing to start an era in the first quarter of the year for Chromatica (Feb), so given JFAD will take up the 3rd/4th quarter, I can see her releasing on the same frame. March the latest.

Gaga in Spring followed by Joker in Autumn is the dream. As much as we think / joke that she is completely dissociated from her music career I also share the opinion that she is cooking and enjoying the process in a more private way than ever; the challenge for her is to actually serve what is being cooked up and to not spread her brand and goodwill with fans thin with interactions that are hollow or hawking or both while hiding the things fans care about. Q1 is about to be over-saturated as **** though. Dua’s album will be coming, Ariana’s era will start, Rep TV will allegedly release, SZA’s re-releasing SOS, and you have Katy, Miley, Halsey, and Rih rumored but not as definitively as the previous 4. I think if Gar does release in 2024 it’ll be Q2 (lead in March or April, album in May or June).

which kinda makes it exciting tbh, also Gaga is Gaga, tho might not be the focal girl rn, she shouldn't be the artist to "move" or be scared of the other girls.

Gaga always releases during busy periods. But if we don't start to hear more concrete info soon-ish we should hang it up flatscreen. Though it puzzles me how Ari managed to basically finish an album without anyone, insider or not, knowing much about it. I guess AG7 might've been rushed by the PR nightmare, it seems first and foremost like damage control before Wicked, surprised not more people are noticing it.

I think we do a diservice to Gaga's household name when assuming she wouldn't (or shouldn't) drop in a competitive market. 

 

As great as it would be to snatch things like a top ten lead or even a #1 lead, I somewhat doubt they're the focal point of Gaga's career at this point.

 

She's also Lady f*cking Gaga. There is ALWAYS interest and curiosity around her music, regardless of what cretins on a niche pop music forum say when disrespecting her name.

 

If the single/album doesn't beat out the rest, it is what it is. She should release whenever feels most right for her and her creativity, regardless of competition. I want a phenomenal album far more than another #1 album.
