I only saw X and it was pretty run of the mill. Horror movie performances like that just don’t get nominated. 

Lupita should have snatched a nomination for Us, that was a once in a life time horror movie performance like Kathy Bates in Misery 

Gaga should stay away from straight up horror. These musical dramas are her lane

The tea is that Mia Goth has a more subdued role in Maxxxine compared to the mid century melodrama histrionics of Pearl. And even if she was given another 10 minute monologue to devour, an Oscar nom for a niche subgenre horror movie will never happen. I love my sis but let’s be for real.

 

She is in the same boat as Anya Taylor-Joy; massively popular and talented current actress taking on genre work rather than Academy bait.

It always surprises me that people dislike Born This Way album cover. It's my favorite of Gaga's album covers.

Born This Way has light and dark songs so I think the color version would've been more fitting.

Sorta disagree. She clearly wants to be seen as more than a "singer who acts", and sticking with musicals would eventually just be holding her back.

the font ruins the OG cover for me but the 10th anniversary is my 2nd fav cover of hers after TFM

I genuinely thought there was no way that Poker Face would be surpassing Shallow’s daily streams as recently as a month ago. But even without the Fortnite boost, Poker Face should be pulling 1 million per day if it grows at the rate it did last year. I really hope Fortnite pushes (and keeps) it in the global 200.
