Yeah, Godga deserved better placement. Curious to know what will be her next soundtrack song. The new 007 team is probably desperate for her music and acting.

I'm sure studios are running to her to do their soundtrack songs after hearing HMH :khalyan:

To OneRepublic's credit, their song is GOOD. So was HMH, the public just connected with OR's song better. It is what it is.

Gaga becoming one of the highest-grossing female film composers of all time with this film isn't celebrated enough imo.

Imagine how worse it would've performed had it not been attached to a successful film and released as a standalone single :khalyan: I slowly got around to HMH though. It's definitely not a top 10 ballad from Gaga but it's still a cute song.

I also liked I ain't worried, but that song was a hit thanks to the viral tiktoks of the cast of top gun shirtless. Miles Teller was everywhere.

Anyone else is not super ultra excited for JFAD? :dancehall: I mean, of course I wanna watch it and I'm gonna get excited about the promo and watching her campaigning. However, in the end, the thing I'm here for is her music and it just sucks that we have no clue if and when something is happening next. :noparty:

I don’t care for popstars as actors period. I watched ASIB to ensure it didn’t flop. Same for HOG. I barely watch movies as it is.

HMH wasn't good.

It is a forgettable and uneventful ballad.

And that's ok. It got the reception it deserved :coffee2:

But somehow this “forgettable” song is out streaming most of her discography

I'm excited for JFAD, but moreso excited to see GodGa do promo and go on talk shows and whatnot

When you think about it Marry The Night had the best promo of her career. Every performance was a stand out. It should’ve been her biggest hit.

Things need to be seen in the bigger picture, HMH was the right fit as closure song for that kind of movie in the ending credits showcasing her vocal range, the OneRepublic song could have been any other song from them and of course it performed better giving it was an uptempo bop perfect for the Summer season, sure Gaga has superior ballads (all the ASIB soundtrack basically) but at the end it still got an Oscar nomination, she performed it and got some decent streaming numbers for awhile, at the end it was not even the abomination-failure some of you are making out of it, the song just needs to be taken for what it is, the ending credits song of a movie.

Those YouTube streaming stats proved that as long as Gaga serves quality with her music. The success will follow her the fact that 3 songs from a star is born are some of her most streamed songs in her career despite everything and continue to gain streams today in 2023. Shows how go truly no ever forgot those songs. Hmh succcess honestly shocking tbh.
