ddddd people are so dense because they think they hate musicals but end up really liking them from time to time (Frozen, A Star is Born, The Greatest Showman, Encanro, etc.)

Not that it matters because isn't JFAD supposed to not be a conventional musical? And more so a film with musical elements?

Yeah, the people who hate musicals 1.) Tend to be comically vocal about it,and drown out a lot of other people, and 2.) Have no understanding of musicals outside of stereotypical fluffy Golden Age Hollywood stuff. The amount of incels that have convinced themselves that their unintended alt-right fantasy is being turned into La La Land is pretty :toofunny3:

If the musical aspect is what it sounds like- a handful of musical centerpieces dispersed through an otherwise normal narrative film that take place in the character's heads- I don’t think audiences will have much of an issue with it. It's different while still making relative sense given that the characters are unstable. If anything, there's a genuine chance that J:FáD could actually change the general perception of what a big musical can be and do.

Liddos joining comic book nerds' DC twitter drama the next year

The question is are they ready for the MESS we are going to unleash? Liddos are coming out of a big drought with several broken promises, an unprecedented era in Liddo history, DC nerds are in for big surprise :gaygacat9:

Her voice sounds so much better in the verses here with the higher key. It just flows really nicely!

With Wonka (a musical) doing well at the BO, The Color Purple (a musical) and Mean Girls (a musical) apparently having great BO pre-sales, and the Hunger Games prequel (several songs are sung in the film) having strong legs at the BO, making J:FàD a musical seems like yet another prophetic decision.

I think it's not an issue for a Gaga movie being a musical since the audience knows her in first as a talented musician-singer, if ASIB was a success was also because people wanted to check the music aspect of it like the success of the soundtrack proves, especially after projects and performances where the audience was more aware of Gaga vocal talent and as performer in general.

I still think it is not gonna be a traditional cheesy musical kind of movie a la 'The Sound of Music', that it's the kind of musical certain part of the GP or the Joker kind of audience don't like, I expect the musical scenes to be functional (they will very likely represent the delusion of the characters) and well incorporated in the movie that will still remain a drama like the first one.

Yeah, ain't no way JFAD will be a traditional musical.
